>Chester - a good Nu Metal vocalist (not saying much).
>Shinoda - Can actually rap, but lyrical content is cringe. Less cringe worthy than most other artist though who write depressive emo lyrics.
>Brad Delson - can combine 3 - 4 chords to create an unoriginal generic bland riff.
>Phoenix - a terrible bass player, please prove me wrong.
>Joseph Hahn - Most talented member of the band, unfortunately he's the DJ.
>Rob Bourdon - Basic, unable to step outside to do anything impressive.
Don't understand how anyone could actually consider them a talented band. For the looked down upon genre they were apart of during their first two albums, they were decent at best. They relied on being catchy like Katy Perry & Taylor Swift, a band member dying is literally the best thing to ever happen to them.

Nobody ever did except for the 13-year olds and white trash too dumb and/or too young to know better. They've always been one the biggest whipping boy jokes in a genre which was in itself a whipping boy joke.
allow me to BTFO your opinion on Rob

I was speaking on the first two albums that everyone is now constantly referring to after Chester's death.

There's nothing wrong with being catchy. I never considered them nu-metal either. They were a good band for when I was lonely in elementary in middle school and I think that's a valid niche to fill.
Shinoda and Hahn should have done more solo stuff together.

music doesnt have to be complex to be good
their first 2 albums are objectively GOAT nu-metal and they hold up 15+ years later
dont like their other albums because i didnt like the musical direction they took though

>There's nothing wrong with being catchy
Correct, although there is also nothing wrong for criticizing a band for relying on being catchy to carry their songs due to the fact they can't provide talent.

catchiness takes talent too anon
