Are there really any good tokusatsu besides Heisei Kamen Rider? I've tried to watch so many different series and none of them feel even close. Showa Rider is god awful, all the Sentai I've tried doesn't do it for me and is way too kiddy and comedic and Ultraman just looks like hokey nonsense. Is there really anything as good as Heisei Rider? Or even decent?

And yet it's more consistently good than Kamen Rider and can do serious just as well as it does goofy.
If you can't stand a little comedy/light heartedness in your toku and only want serious stuff for serious people then I question why you like toku at all. It's always been a medium that had moments of brevity hard baked into it.
