“Because the novel is so beautiful but not well-known, fans of ‘Stoner’ feel like they’re in a secret club.
Are we a sceret club? Also do you think that stoner is a good material for movie adaptation?

seems like OP wants to talk about this book and is reposting the thread because it sank too quickly last time, but he's on 4chan where it's customary to pal around and make jokes, so he's turning his own opinion about the book into a little joke to start discussion, and you're a retarded faggot
I hope this meme gets popular
Where do I begin with Schopenhauer? Is he the 'final boss'?
>>9983985
No he's entry level, maybe mid level for his ontology

Welcome to my domain. Let this be our final battle.
I haven't gotten to reading Schopie's World as Will and Representation yet, but out of curiosity, anyone know how does he deal with the problem of the subject knowing objects?
I'm just wondering this because I was under the impression he was influenced to some degree by Kant's transcendental idealism.
CYBERPUNK
I've been trying to find some interesting cyberpunk novels, but most of what I've found were just pulpy stories that relied on technological gimmicks.
What are the must-reads of the genre?
I'm especially looking for novels about virtual/artificial reality and transhumanism.
Doesn't have to be strictly cyberpunk though.
I've already read Gibson and Dick.

Hi /lit/,
Thomas Ruggles Pynchon here. I'm going to give this whole book thing a final go. What would you like me to write about? Feel free to let me know in this thread. Otherwise, send your suggestions to:

Hey /lit/ I've been interested in Cormac McCarthy for a while, where would i start?
His best work is The Orchard Keeper.
>>9983763
start with...hehe...the greeks
If you're very interested and would like to commit, you should start with the Orchard Keeper and go in chronological order, so you also see how he develops. If you're not sure that you want to read everything yet, maybe try something like the Road? Or the Border Trilogy? Maybe wait for another anon for a better starting point.
