Do you think logographic writing will ever make a global come-back? Seems like it's inefficient for representing speech, but very efficient at representing ideas. You don't look at the symbols and get the meaning after subvocalizing, you just extract the meaning from the symbols directly.
It's already here.

Literally when did it fucking disappear in East Asia?
>You don't look at the symbols and get the meaning after subvocalizing, you just extract the meaning from the symbols directly.
Unless, you know. The word consists of several characters. Which you have to do each time a new word is added to the language.
> versailles was too harsh
> but brest-litovsk was totally okay
What are some other cases of historical hypocrisy?
>>2744430
Brest-Litovsk was reversed within a year, no shit it isn't considered as significant as Versailles. Also, Communists are subhuman filth who deserved to be utterly annihilated, not just to lose a bit of clay.
The Eternal Kraut has the mental facilities of a spoiled rotten child. He is entitled to everything but responsible for nothing. In victory he takes all he can without regard for the interests of others or even himself, in defeat he cries that he is being victimized.
Versailles was amazingly lax given what Germany had just put the continent through. The Congress of Vienna was far harsher and every German state was supportive of that.

So I'm a huge European nationalist, and I love Europe, but haven't really paid attention in history classes. I know barely anything other then some series like Last Kingdom thought me. I'm specially interested in anything viking and christian related history. Not really the communism East or the traveling gypsy's.
I'm looking for a place/series/website where I can find a good sum of European history, preferably some simple English.
>Last Kingdom
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCJUDdEirco
You'll find plenty of people willing to inform you about specific events, periods, cultures, etc. on here, but asking for a summarization of European history with any amount of Christian involvement is very, very broad. I'd recommend you site a specific event or a specific time in a specific area in Europe. For example, Scandinavia during the Viking Era, & what the Scandinavians discovered & conquered, where they established settlements, & how they expanded so profusely would be a reasonable request.

I'm from The Netherlands, and I barely know anything about my country other then 1945-1950.
Did anything even happen in The Netherlands before 1945?
So what are the theories on how the American Civil War would have turned out if France, England, and Russia had gotten involved?
Could the confederacy have secured independence with British and French aid? Or would Russia have balanced out the scales of power?

What gain would this give thise nations
And if france did join up it would probably be with the union
>>2744048
>What gain would this give thise nations
A source of cotton and a market for industrial goods.
>And if france did join up it would probably be with the union
Kek no. Only reason France did not jump in on the confederacy's side is that they were concerned about what Britain might do while they're distracted.

There's also a common belief that if England had become allied to the South, it would have only made things worse for the south.
First, a big tactic the South used to inspire recruits was Revolutionary War rhetoric. They were fighting against "tyranny" just like George Washington fought against the British, and it was a natural part of their culture. So joining with the British would have made them question their loyalties.
Also it would have made the North fight that much harder. As it was the North was only half interested in fighting the South. The reason it took so long to crush them is because of this disinterest, and the Brits getting involved would have caused recruitment and spending to skyrocket.
There were politicians in the North who actively promoted the idea of Britain joining the South just for this purpose.
Also I don't think Russia would have been in much of a position to do anything.
Is there any record of blacks owning slaves in the US or the existence of white slaves (aside from indentured servitude)?

Look away
>>2743857
John Punch was the first recorded slave and was owned by a white man, but a lot of /pol/ posters make reference to a black man owned by another black man.
The one thing people don't realize is however is that John Punch was enslaved because his blackness. Two white indentured servants he left with were not enslaved for life.
Also there were no white Chattel slaves, just servants.
indentured servitude wasn't slavery and wasn't even close to slavery

Fascism is Power + Prejustice
Historians, political scientists & various other scholars who have ties to fascism have yet to, & likely never will, establish a uniform, universally agreed upon definition of it. They have agreed on some of fascism's core tenants/principles, however. Nearly all definitions include something along the lines of this: Fascism is an ideology, a movement, that is nationalist, authoritarian & totalitarian in nature. It has the goals of creating a regulated economic structure in order to transform social relations within a modern culture. It advocates for the mass mobilization of society under a one-party state with a single leader; it has a positive view of violence; it promotes masculinity, strength, youth & charismatic actions/leadership. Fascists have imperial ambitions, support the idea of a military citizenship in which all members of society have the obligation to involve themselves with the military in some manner, support the idea of total war, & reject the ideal of "perpetual peace" as a false God, along with democracy, communism, liberalism & conservatism. Satisfactory?
Something for everyone edition.
