You'll find plenty of people willing to inform you about specific events, periods, cultures, etc. on here, but asking for a summarization of European history with any amount of Christian involvement is very, very broad. I'd recommend you site a specific event or a specific time in a specific area in Europe. For example, Scandinavia during the Viking Era, & what the Scandinavians discovered & conquered, where they established settlements, & how they expanded so profusely would be a reasonable request.

First, a big tactic the South used to inspire recruits was Revolutionary War rhetoric. They were fighting against "tyranny" just like George Washington fought against the British, and it was a natural part of their culture. So joining with the British would have made them question their loyalties.

Also it would have made the North fight that much harder. As it was the North was only half interested in fighting the South. The reason it took so long to crush them is because of this disinterest, and the Brits getting involved would have caused recruitment and spending to skyrocket.

There were politicians in the North who actively promoted the idea of Britain joining the South just for this purpose.

Also I don't think Russia would have been in much of a position to do anything.

Historians, political scientists & various other scholars who have ties to fascism have yet to, & likely never will, establish a uniform, universally agreed upon definition of it. They have agreed on some of fascism's core tenants/principles, however. Nearly all definitions include something along the lines of this: Fascism is an ideology, a movement, that is nationalist, authoritarian & totalitarian in nature. It has the goals of creating a regulated economic structure in order to transform social relations within a modern culture. It advocates for the mass mobilization of society under a one-party state with a single leader; it has a positive view of violence; it promotes masculinity, strength, youth & charismatic actions/leadership. Fascists have imperial ambitions, support the idea of a military citizenship in which all members of society have the obligation to involve themselves with the military in some manner, support the idea of total war, & reject the ideal of "perpetual peace" as a false God, along with democracy, communism, liberalism & conservatism.
