Alright guys, I need your help. Last year around this time, one of my girl friends had perpetually strung me along for months alluding to a future relationship and then sprung on me that she's now dating someone else, which was emotionally devastating to say the least. As a result, I told her to never contact me again unless she wants to consider a romantic relationship. I also had to seek counseling because afterward I spiraled into a depression but she doesn't know this. She tries over the next couple weeks to get me to talk to her and I flat out refuse until she finally stops.

One year later, she sends me a message tonight that goes as follows.

I think he went a bit too far out there in terms of Tony's genius and childhood. I do like the idea of using alcohol to make the pain in his head go away. You can even work in the brain tumor. Thankfully Hickman managed to turn that into something better.

Pretty sure it was Millar that did the retcon and Hickman invented the genius tumor. And I really like Millar's Tony, but Hickman's representation of Tony where he acts as a father figure for the tumor is truly heartwarming which I didn't think was possible. Anthony was one of the best parts of that book.

I'm going to do my best not to text her (or at least not tonight). I'm going to drown my sorrows in videogames. Serious question, GTA5 worth full price? Post things you like, didn't like, or wish you could change.

It actually means a lot that someone enjoys Ultimate Spider-Man this much. Ult. Peter was and probably still is my favorite version of Spider-Man simply because he never gave up, even the face of overwhelming odds. I think Miles is a fun character but he never came close to what Peter accomplished. I'd actually like to hear your thoughts on what I should post next. I've been debating with Bendis' Daredevil/Crime Novels but I'd like to hear what you would want. I have some Joe Casey Superman comics that I feel are goddamn inspiring simply becuase he's a pacifist throughout all the issues. If it's Spider-Man you're looking for, I have all of SLott's series in a nice chronology from Big Time to the Osborn Identity and "most" things inbetween. BUt if there's something you're super lookin for I'll see what I can do.

I liked the story in SA a lot better, and I didn't mind the characters. GTAV looks better of course but I think the controls, especially driving, are a lot better than the previous games.
I don't think it's worth $60 though unless you have some friends to play multiplayer with, but even then I would just say that it would be better to wait for a sale.

I thought RDR was pretty overrated. It's like GTAIV, but boring. Horses are no fun to ride, the map is mostly sparse and boring, and there's none of the crazy fun stuff that GTA has. V has a lot of problems, but I've played for hundreds of hours and still have fun with it every time a new update comes out.

RDR was fun but most of the time you're just riding your horse through a mostly empty world. There are a few random events here and there but it's not really enough.
GTAV also has a creator in it that allows people to make new maps/game types so there are new things to do in multiplayer.
