DEEPEST LORE
Straight people in the comments of In A Heartbeat: this really isn't an exclusively gay film, if you replace the boy with a girl it's the same story :/
Me in my head: In a Heartbeat is a story about a gay boy struggling to come to terms with his sexuality. The heart represents his feelings, which keeps trying to reach his crush, the only thing holding it back being himself suppressing his feelings. In the scene when Sherwin is outed to Jonathan and the rest of his peers, a crowd of other students appear to look at them with disgust. Everyone is staring, and Sherwin's heart LITERALLY breaks. Being outed against your will feels exactly like that. Straight people will NEVER experience this, it'll never be relatable to them, and it's not meant to be relatable to them. In A Heartbeat is a film for the queer community, and it's something straight people shouldn't touch.
Me out loud, reverting back into my Internet Meme Persona: had it not been for the laws of this land I would have slaughtered you

>Hunchback of Notre Dame: rated G
>Frozen: rated PG
Explain.
Just let it go.
Frozen had more incestuous lesbian undertones.

Ratings slippage over the years due to the pressure of evangelical groups and studios wanting to avoid the stigma of a G rating.
Some say this guy is funny. Still, most people care shit about him as other Looney Tunes stars are more famous. Is he funny or is he lame?
Look at me boy, I say boy, you're not listening, listening that is.

>Nice, ah say, nice kid but he's about as sharp as a bag a' bowlin' balls
Unfunny and lame, like every cartoon Bob ShitKimson directed.
The episode with the cat who wanted worm on his hook was mildly amusing tho.

This comic started so strong and yet everytime I take a look at it now it's just pages filled with characters talking of some boring stuff. What happened?
>>94517847
Oh hey Max remembered what this chapters main plot actually is. How many years has it been since this chapter began again?

Easily one of Telltale's better premier episodes
I kinda like John, even though he's going to stab me in the back.

Is this the only Marvel issue worth reading at the moment?
>le edgy 90's pouch gun cyborg man
No.
>>94517446
It's decent I guess.
That makes it the best X-Men book, but I still wouldn't pay for it.
And Robinson is already off the book because he went back to DC.
>>94517446
It's actually boring so far. After 3 issues, Cable is still chasing the same guy through time. 3 different locations where he encountered the locals and asked for directions.
Did this make you cry?
It had me at a loss for words
I totally lose it

You cannot be serious right now.
Has Batman or anyone else in the Bat Family dated any Black Woman/Men before? I know Batman dated, once, a black woman named Jezzabell (sp)? Anyone else?
Why is this an important or relevant discussion and why did this need it's own thread? There's like 6 race war threads you could've asked this in.

Black/Brown girls are like dead batmans?
Tim had a relationship with Lucas Fox's daughter during his Red Robin days in pre-52
They had good chemistry, one of the better girlfriend characters comics has had imo
in new 52 she was back in a valentine's day special but she was Dick's date
I guess the Batfamily likes to mix the bowl.
Bruce is probably going to go out with her in Rebirth, wouldn't be the first time he fucked his friend's daughter
>Her real name is Gwendolyn Poole
Any relation to Christopher Poole?
>>94517146
Yes. MODOK kills him but Gwen manages to bring him back as a ghost and put him in an alien monster's body.

Are they? Losing Bay, Marky Mark and the eye candy all at once. Good job
Instead Lennox and Epps will be leading the series like they should have after the first one.

Bumblebee movie got Hailee Steinfeld.
And with Ian Flynn. Neat!
>"We wanted to create a book that’s accessible, not mired in a million crossovers and part of a bigger, unfolding story," Goldwater tells Heat Vision about the upcoming series. "For that, we enlisted [writer] Ian Flynn, who’s done a lot of marvelous work for us and has a history with the Crusaders. On art, we have Kelsey Shannon, who did some nice work on the Josie and the Pussycats book recently and has a really clear, modern and welcoming style."
>The result is something squarely aimed at contemporary superhero readers — and maybe some fans who have been scared away from other publishers because of the amount of knowledge needed to follow the story. Goldwater called the series "a lynchpin book that we hope will lead to more spinoffs and expansion for the Dark Circle universe," promising, "You don’t need a PhD in comics to hop onboard. Everything is explained in the first issue. These are beloved, iconic characters and it’s time we dust them off and let them shine for what they are — amazing superhero properties that deserve a bigger spotlight."
>"The Mighty Crusaders is one of those dream projects that you always hope for but never dare expect will actually happen," artist Kelsey Shannon told THR. "The best of the golden age through the lens of the present. That grand scale spectacle and boundless imagination of the great old comics past mixed with the attention to character and emotional realism that we all come to expect from the stories we choose to invest ourselves in today."
>Writer Flynn added, "I’m really excited to return to the Dark Circle heroes and pit them against the greatest challenges they’ve ever faced. I think fans of the classic and newer Crusaders will enjoy our new, high-paced approach to their world!"

Yeah, I'm sure Archie's billionth try at cape books will be a hit.
Bets on how many times the first issue gets delayed?
This looks like if Astro City was bad.
