Archie has announced a new ongoing series, Betty & Veronica Vixens, coming to comic shops in November from Archie editor and writer Jamie L. Rotante and Eisner-nominated Kim & Kim artist Eva Cabrera.
Betty's face looks terrible. Kim & Kim is terrible. Why was it nominated for an Eisner? Why does Archie keep hiring these terrible artists?

how come that an ''american icon'' like Superman gets so much shit whenever they try to change the character but another american icon like Archie gets away with doing that all the time?
>>94538971
can they be a couple in this universe
>yfw you scrolled so fast past the image you thought Veronica just had massive tits and isn't just holding a motorcycle helmet.
It just dawned on me, are the Gargoyles supposed to be dragon people?
>wings and tails
>consider themselves to be "above" humanity
>instinctually protective (like how a Dragon protects it's hoard or whatever)
>are extremely close-knit and don't like outsiders
They sound like dragon people to me.
please
Demona and Thailog were the only gargoyles I can remember who considered themselves to be superior to humans. Most actually held the opposite opinion, that their purpose was to be subservient to humans.
Also, dragons are close-knit? Aren't they usually portrayed as being very territorial?

I'm pretty sure Goliath also saw himself as above humans, but not in a petty or narcissistic way like you mentioned. He was hopefully that one day they'd catch up to his species level.also are we ever going to talk about how or why Goliath developed a human fetish?
Apologize.

It's shit.
It was pretty enough in a few scenes, but cliche and laughable for the rest of it.
>>94538701
i'm sorry your hyped movie was shit and i'm sorry they chose someone who can't act at all to be the star of the movie

Aglet maker.
Is everyone starting threads on /co ESL? Or is it some in joke or something that you need to mangle the grammar a little when making a thread?

Why the fuck is here head so big?

Funny, I saw some woman do a full analysis of the show and she failed to understand anything about it.
I doubt most regular men that aren't huge fans of animation would understand Xavier either, anon.

It was a tranny, don't assume their gender.
Purebred Inhumans can live a long time, the average being 150 years. Most of the current Royal Family , Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, Triton, and Gorgon, are over 100 years old.
But what about Crystal? Is she as old as her family? Was Johnny even legal with they started dating?
>>94538118
>Crystal was 7 when Black Bolt was 18.
>Black Bolt became king shortly afterwards.
>Maximus usurps the throne, the other Inhuman royals leave Attilan for years.
>Crystal is about 16 or 17 by the time she meets Johnny.
>Jenkins writes an Inhumans series that shows Triton alive during WW1, confusing Inhumans timeline and implying everyone is older.
>Slott inserts the reign of the Unspoken after the death of Black Bolt's parents, further confusing the timeline.
Crystal should be around the same age as Marvel's other Silver Age teenagers, but Spider-Man and Human Torch are locked down as permanently somewhere between 25-30, while all the others are written as seeming older.
Post more Crystal pics, anons.
What are the cartoons you immediately changed the channel on as soon as you saw them? Pic related
don't care if it was good or bad, just want to see what you immediately changed the channel on
Tom & Jerry, always find them too boring no matter what version
Oh, OP. Did you at least change it AFTER the opening?
Whatever Cartoon Network straight to dvd movie they would play
Featuring Deadpool!
So how are they going to beat him?
Literally only Thor and Vision can do anything

The same way they always do: Thanos will defeat himself because at his core he is inherently self-destructive.

Sorry man, never saw it
Rumours say the movie will be set during the 1980s/Cold War.
I think Circe and/or Cheetah would be good villains to use.
I think the bookends should be set in modern day again, perhaps Diana is giving an interview to Lois Lane, as a framework to the 80s story.
>>94537012
Damn, WW drawn in 1994 looks like THAT?
Cheetah as evil Lara Croft with superspeed and claws would work well for the next movie IMO.
>>94537012
Cheetah as big bad in Wonder Woman 2 during the Cold War
Circe as big bad in Wonder Woman 3 in modern day
But like the first movie used Doctor Poison as a secondary antagonist, other WW villains should get some spotlight as well. I'm thinking Doctor Cyber and Doctor Psycho
Cyber during the Cold War when tech security was starting to become important.
What do you think is *generally* the optimal number of main protagonists for a cartoon?
Personally, I would say three or four. A good example is the Rugrats; although there were originally five main characters if you include Angelica, Phil and Lil blended together in a lot of episodes, which was probably the intention. Either way, each episode was even-handed with giving all of the kids some focus and input on the situation at hand. After the second movie when Kimi was added, I always felt like the focus on each main character was poorly balanced in some episodes and spread too thin in others.
I kinda prefer pyramid style, with 1 MAIN, main character, but 4ish main characters, and another 4 secondary characters who frequently star in episodes.
Large casts are perfectly fine for an ensemble comedy because it's all about telling jokes, so there's not a lot of emphasis on character development or narrative intricacy
You gotta be careful about having "dud characters" that result in bad episodes/segments though.

>You gotta be careful about having "dud characters" that result in bad episodes/segments though.
That was the big issue with all those Spielberg/WB shows in the early 90s, though. Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Taz-Mania, they all shat out like 30 characters all at once and maybe 8 of them were funny at best.
I'm making currently producing a couple of shorts as a proof of concept for my pitch for a potential new cartoon for Nickelodeon (I'm working there as an intern) called 'The Crazy World of Myrtle' a show where in anything can happen.
The show features Myrtle, a last of her kind living with a supervillian named Hoodknight in a random world that leads itself to endless possibilities, the show is essentially a child friendly version of Drawn Together n which is satirizes many genres of cartoons
I'm wondering if you guys could give me pointers for this pitch.
Bohot, is Myrtle's snarky best friend
>>94536616
>>94536639
Oh shit, I remember you. Have some tips:
Give up and focus on working your way up the ladder, nick is not going to give a cartoon to a random intern fresh out of high school.
Percy is Myrtle's second best friend in the trio
Did you say top tier husbando thread?
Rodents always make the best spouses.
Handsome rat husbandos are the best.
rodent husbandos?
