Okay /co/, I have to ask. Am I the only one that finds this show painfully unfunny? I've heard it praised and how it's a really great idea and dark and all that, but I've watched the show (at least to episode 9) and I think I chuckled all of twice. Every single joke falls flat on its face, feeling way too forced or doing the Family Guy thing of "we're being unfunny IRONICALLY". The characters aren't even that interesting.

I just got through this show and really enjoyed it. It was fun to watch the characters change over time, and dive deeper into the world and learn more about it. I was just expecting some silly dumb show that was fun to get drunk and space out to but I actually really enjoyed it. I guess, to give us a topic, what do you think of the show?
What are other shows similar to this? Where it eventually starts getting really interesting and the characters actually change and evolve over time? Which show has done it the best?
