I'm also working on uploading some of his more obscure western comics for other publishers.

Down to Earth is a lot more interesting to me. I like people who also have powers. Like the Misfits. Their powers come into play a lot but mostly they're extensions of who they are. They add interactions but they're not molded or defined by their powers.

The premise is kid-friendly enough to put on normal CN and it can potentially generate merch. If it was on [as] it would have been pointlessly crude to the point of not being remotely funny because it's too busy TRYING to be adult.

Not until they find a simple enough story to utilize that tech. All of Disney's shorts look fantastic: Paperman, Feast, Inner Workings. I would love to see a film in that style, but it seems like every project they push for is either pre-occupied with developing other tech (Hair physics, snow, water).

They said during development they wanted to try to have CG style changes for Ralph but it was too jarring and didn't work, so they just changed the lighting for the characters to make them feel different in each other's games. Big Hero 6 might've benefited from a much more experimental CG to match the concept art, but they probably spent a shit ton of money modelling that entire city, getting those microbots to work, and re-writing the script to even consider that.

I actually happen to be re-watching through the series' right now;I just finished the original and started Alien Force. I never watched Omniverse, but am going to this time.

I think the original series was better in a few ways, the most notable being that Alien tech was scarce. As cool as it is to see Ben become a leader, the whole Plumber's Kids and Alien Underground setup takes away the sense of, 'alienness.' Scarcity = strangeness. From what I know of Omniverse it falls into that trap even worse.

I gotta admit though, AF and UA have some kickass alien designs, if some, annoyingly, make others seem obsolete - and the Ultimates are an interesting concept.

Oh, and I haven't seen any of the reboot. Avoiding it desu. Probably falls into the same trap as PPG and TTG, i.e. being garbage. The stylistic deterioration is annoying, at least.

DC had a struggle to start the cinematic universe because there was many possible way to kick it with so many content rich stories. With Marvel you just know they'd do Avengers v Thanos and the rest is just improv. Hell, Civil was a reaction to the announcement of Batman v Superman.
