The failed movie is a reason why I am hesitant to believe it will get done.
>Paris-based Technicolor Animation Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment will produce a CG-animated television series based on best-selling PlayStation videogame series, Sly Cooper.
Could it be good like Boom?

Let's hope for the best
I completely forgot this was happening. Was the Ratchet & Clank movie any good?
when's the next game lads :(
I missed the part where that's my problem.
Not my policy!
What does /co/ think of the Ukrainian film, Mavka, The Forest Song?

Making of teaser in Ukrainian but with English subtitles.

It looks interesting.
Doesn't look like it's too far long, but looks pretty cool. I love animations and comics from bullshit countries.
Image comic when?

Priest said that he's looking to write more novels.
Is it just me, or did most Disney shorts have downbeat endings? Not lost-the-will-to-live depressing endings (at least not all the time), but ones where the characters didn't accomplish their goal, got humiliated, or had their home destroyed (that always kinda disturbed me as a kid).
Especially the Donald toons. I've told people that if you think Disney is all happy endings, you should watch more Donald Duck.

The pictured episode was a wartime cartoon. Do you think there may have been servicemen on leave watching it who had to mercy-kill a critically injured partner out on the battlefield?
>>93192391
Same thing happened in WB cartoons too.
Downbeat ending have more potential for humour Rozanski
Can we have a good old thread of Comic book people being dicks to eachother?

>"There are lessons from every movie," Jon Berg said. "You would be silly not to analyze how a movie was received — what went right and what went wrong on the making of a movie. On Suicide Squad, the movie did incredibly well commercially. It didn’t work narratively. You had some great casting and some great characterizations, but where the story fell down was on narrative, on plot. We could do better. Batman v. Superman was tonally dark. People didn’t respond to that."
>"Most of the DC Universe is known as being a hopeful and optimistic place." Johns added. "It’s known for characters that are inspirational and aspirational. Anyone who knows and loves the DC Universe knows that a lot of that has to do with its hope and optimism. Wonder Woman celebrated exactly who the character is, but looking at it, it’s not like we should change everything to be about hope and optimism. There’s nothing to change. That’s what these characters are."
Thoughts? Are you excited about the more light/hopeful tone of the DCEU with Johns and Berg in charge?
>It was because of Snyder
That's all that needed to be said.
Sure.
I want to like movies with DC heroes in then by default, everything they have to do is be not shit, so I guess they're on the right track now.
>Take everything away from Bendis and task him with making Carol a good. He'll be barred from touching anything besides her and his OCs will be up for grabs for other writers
>Give her a sexy costume and long hair
>Finally pair her up with her one true love Jess
There I just fixed this shitty character and the rest of Marvel.
>Bendis
>Finally pair her up with her one true love Jess
You've made her just as shitty, except now you've dragged in an even shittier character into the mix and her shitty baby. Actually on second thought, you've made her even shittier.
>>93192351
Nothing can be as shitty as KSD and those YA authors. Bendis sucks but he isn't on that level. Literally who would care if Bendis got a hold of her? That's right. Nobody.
Jess and Carol are endgame.
>>93192322
>Bendis
is the main reason Carol is so hated already. His Carol is awful. Give her to an author that's already done well with her: Thompson, Gage, Ewing, maybe beg B/F to come back.
She can still marry Jess though.
Could Batman beat him?

What if he's able to speak because the lip disc has a computer in it that reads his mind and spits out what he has to say in a computer voice?
Did here somebody read this? What you'll say about that?

It's literally Steven Universe delivered in h*mest*ck format.
Lackluster plot and loads of crying in that nu-cartoon style that's currently running. No really, some pages look like they could actually be a frame for an actual animation project. Speaking of which, the animated pages other than a lowkey anime thing going on can't really show much. I'm not particularly impressed with them. It's over a thousand pages but no sign of what the fuck it actually is about. I mean HS was slow (sometimes intentionally) but this is even worse.
pretty shit if ya ask me
>>93340749
SJW bullshit. And I'm not even shitposting, the only character that doesn't use gender neutral pronouns is a tranny. Even SU isn't that bad.
Also what is it with redheaded trannies in webcomics
>>93340749
I know very little about this comic, but I'm open to trying it out I ever see an interesting page
>Every animator now is forced to have seen 200 Looney Tunes & MGM shorts before he's allowed a job.
Would it improve the industry? Yes or no? Why?
>>93340697
I don't even think even a Looney Tunes fan would sit down and watch over 200 fucking shorts just to get a fucking job.
>>93340697
Not everything has to be like a Looney Tunes or MGM cartoon, so no.
200 is a bit much, but if you go through the top 10 or 20 frame-by-frame you can learn a lot.
What made him better than most other "retard who spouts random non-sequiturs" characters?
>>93340539
Nothing, this show is overrated.

>In this issue, Pymtron kidnaps the Avengers forces them to partake in a family style dinner!
>This issue is part of a limited series called "Secret Empire" which is about the Marvel heroes trying to stop an evil Captain America from taking over the universe!
it did seem out of place.
like a filler issue in an event already too long.
>>93340525
It was easily the best issue.
>>93340637
That's pretty bad if the best issue so far is filler.
