Any of you folks have an opinion on OH cards? I thought they were only meant for therapy but my mom always used them for divining growing up. then I saw this on the wiki page:

Basically dont let it overwhelm you. There are reasons on why you overthink things, it is in your nature but the main issue is that you dont let go of things that you know will not bring any fruition.

Be assertive and accurate, you have great potential, dont waste it by getting stuck in irrationality. Ugh, stupid boy problems. So this guy and I have a 'thing' for each other but ultimately (after just making out a few times) decided to 'just be friends' because 'he wasn't ready for a relationship or anything like that'.

I would not assume that The Hermit is a step below The Magician. The Fool's Journey interpretation of the major arcana sees each of these cards as a stage in progression. The Magician and The Hermit are not superficially interrelated in this perspective, therefore neither are associated as opposites of each other, although I could see why you would come to that conclusion when considering the aspects of each card.

A more closely related counterpart to The Magician would be The High Priestess. They indicate two different approaches within the same idea.
