I don't think I'm openly pushy, we don't talk too much and I mostly try to leave him alone, but I'm definitely thirsty inwardly and devoting a lot of mental focus to him, even if no one else, including him (hopefully) knows that. Maybe people are picking up on it anyway.

I did text him recently for the first time and had a nice conversation with him and was hoping he'd take the reins next time, but it's been a week and nothing. I'm never sure if I need to be more forward or if I'm already overstepping my boundaries. Based on his body language and such, it could easily go either way. Due to your reading, I'll continue to wait him out and just try to be friendly in the meantime.

I think he may be hung up on an ex girlfriend or considering getting back with her...? I'm not sure and I don't want to pry about it. A minor chord is not "off key"

An off key note is a note that is non diatonic to the key you're currently in

A regular chord is made up of a tonic(bass note), third(minor: 1 and a half step/Major: 2 steps from tonic) and a fifth(perfect fifth is 3 steps and a half away from tonic)

So as an example: if we're in the key of F# Major: F# G# A# B C# D# F

G# B D# is a minor chord
B D# F# is a minor chord and
D# F# A# is a minor chord

They're all diatonic since there are chords constructed from the notes of the scales which is in key

All that i tried to say is one note he's holding on the pic i posted is not supposed to be bended to have proper intonation so that no non-diatonic dissonance makes it sound off key
