That sums me up pretty well, I really struggle with either being too impulsive, or not acting at all. However when I do something, I aim really high & usually find success pretty quickly, then I get skittish and refuse to take further action, losing any momentum and ending up back where I started. Doesn't seem to matter what it is (weight loss, relationships, making money), I can always figure out how to do it, I can just never seem to make it stick. And it never seems to matter how deep a hole I dig, right when I think it's too much and I won't get out, I get out with ease. Im doing it again, this time with my trip.
Ive closed my eyes and scrolled down the page and picked one random person for a one card general reading relating to the text of your post.
I have read 0 other posts in this thread.
Only yours.
This is an exercise for me to practice and get more experience and grow a skill.

This time, I wanted to know more about the one card I drew, so I drew two more.
Here is what I am getting.

The fire doesnt renew or destroy, it just sits there and burns in the same place.

You have your hand on your hip, but you are looking down.
You are trying to look confident or bossy, but maybe you really are not.
Maybe you are not ready for this.
Maybe you are too selfish with fire, but the journey will teach you to share it along the way or teach you how to use it.
The Air blowing on the fire fuels it, but the Fire is passive and does not move.
It just sits and burns until it gets too bright to look at and too hot to touch.
You can choose to learn how to weild the growing flames, or how to succomb to them.
There is a lot of learning to be done here, and a lot of lessons to be taught.
You need to be open and learn those lessons.

I've got a couple of hours, so I could do a few readings.

I don't need anything except for query, but feel free to give any info you personally find relevant or useful.

Yeah, and for you guys asking about readings being hit or miss, or about getting opposite readings from different readers, my advice is think carefully what you ask. If I read for myself or for someone next to me, the accuracy is of my readings is generally about 100%. This is because I formulate my questions well: I ask what is important, and focus on getting advice and further information of the situation rather than straight up asking for the future outcome. What should I do in order to change the situation? Why do I feel this way? Am I unaware of something I should know? What should I focus on?

Yes or no questions are generally bad. The situations change and are rarely that simple. Questions like: Which career path should I take? Are generally bad. There's no "doctor" or "janitor" card on my deck, so you wont be getting clear answer, only something vague, like: finding the answer will take time. Oversimplified queries get oversimplified answers.

When doing readings for myself or for people I know, I find out everything I can about the situation before the reading. Here, at anonymous Taiwanese glass painting board this is not possible. It's up to you to give the reader the necessary information. if I don't have any info, I rely on my gut feeling. Does this card mean, that anon is too emotional? Or does it mean that they should be more emotional? Cards are like puzzle pieces. Creating a perfect picture takes time, and a lot of pieces. You are not going to get those perfect pictures here, you have to go to the counselling and pay money for that. We give you the pieces and tell how we think they connect. It's your own responsibility to figure out the rest and follow the advice you are given.

It might be the reader that sucks, but the weak link of the chain might also be you.

The first and most important is: how do you feel? Which path would you rather like to take? To me it seems both will yield equally good results, and the real issue at hand is what you want. Are you just going with the flow or trying to play it safe? Are you having trouble balancing things? Are you afraid of leaving the current environment, maybe family or friends, behind?
