What should I do with my life? What should I become? After a lot of introspection I realized the only reason I'm trying to get my act together in University is to support my parents. I have no passion.

It is quite relevant to me for various reasons. A similar query was made for me the very first day i started on this whole adventure that is divination and the occult, but again, various reasons.

The helping people meme is for those who have no clue what it is like actually working there, like college freshmen, then they go to work, cannot change it.

Amateur reader here, I've been working on you for a while and first and foremost, I see that you need to stop being so undecided, this will only lead you to emotional and mental distress. I also see that you might enjoy doing something more on the business side, interacting with people while also doing your craft. If you enjoy biology, perhaps consider taking a minor in business or finance and go into helping finance research and development.

Anyways we are on to an interesting topic. Normally i would say occult comes with ''narcissism'' (in a good way), part of the human nature is to feel special since we are always the main character of our reality, of our life. Mix that with power of will, the things we see outside the mundane and you can see what i mean. Notice that i said normally, because in your case you truly seem special, yet i cant quite put my finger on why, you just kind of heavily give me that impression to stand out and i consider myself quite a good character judge.

The funny thing is that on my own, I can't really do anything. But I seem to increase the ability of people who have them. I've been experimenting with it with someone who has a prominent healing gift, and it seems fitting with the lamp analogy - I ended up a bit sick/weakened after it, so we decided to quit the experiment.

There's a ton of books on the Rider-Waite deck & it's actually one of the two most popular decks most widely written about (the other being the Thoth deck).

The original books written for it are the Pictorial Key to the Tarot & A Manual of Cartomany, both by Arthur Waite. But the one book I used when I first started was Holistic Tarot by Bennebel Wen.

That book's more like a 500-page encyclopedia & it cuts to the chase in plain English, when it comes to learning the Rider-Waite deck.
