Paranormal hookup thread!-
I just moved to Portland OR from Minneapolis. I knew of all the cool caves and tunnels and factories there, but haven't been to or heard of much here yet. I also am lacking in the friend department, would love to meet up and check out a cool abandon building or explore some spooky shit.
Post your location, and anything else useful.
I'll start, and also try to find some links to cool things around my area too.
NE portland, 21

I'm open to summoning circles, occult stuff, and I have a decent collection of shit that could be used for that, including tarot, and a 'haunted' vintage ouiji board among other things.
So /x/ I was thinking about all the conflict in the world today, in America alone we have white against black, man against woman and so on, in the world at large you have the middle east vs the west and so on.
I was thinking about that in regards to Jung's idea of the collective unconscious and state of the Earth's environment thanks to climate change.
What I'm getting at is, is everyone slowly going crazy because subconsciously we know the Earth's environment is fucked and things are about to get really bad?
That's an interesting theory. I can see it having some merit. We may be closer tied to the earths changes than we are aware of. There's been a lot of drought and earthquakes these past few years. Stragne weather aside.
>>17175942
>everyone's going crazy
Ever since World War 2 it has actually been very peaceful compared to the 19th,18th, 17th etc centuries.
The invention of nukes has basically ended conventional warfare between first and second world nations
>>17176167
But explain what the fuck is going on in America? Everyone is pissed off all the time, look at the tea party, black lives matter, feminists, anyone no matter who they are or where they are on the political spectrum has some group that they can join that is mad as hell.
Meanwhile we're having all this terrible droughts and it's only a matter of time till the east coast starts flooding.
And it's spooky to think about...
>You will never really know how you will die until the moment it happens, and even then you might not see it coming.
(inb4 obvious stuff such as terminal illness, and who was phone)
You will never know what you face actually looks like. Sure, you see it in pictures and mirrors, but you will never ever see your face from the perspective of another human being

Astral projection:)
you will never know the hundreds or even thousands of people on earth with who you would fall deeply in love, and from who that love would be reciprocated.

So I've come here for advice.
The other night, I had a weird...dream? I guess you could call it that.
It was more of a closed eye visual, it happened right as I was falling asleep.
I was laying in bed and I had this extremely vivid mental imagine that I was driving and had hit someone with my car, it felt so real that it jerked me awake.
What is this phenomenon? Happens very rarely, but is usually preceded by an extremely active mind, by this I mean sometimes before I fall asleep I will find my mind racing, hundreds of random situations and conversations flood my brain, no structure, just completely random thoughts. Is something wrong with me?
Pic completely unrelated
>>17175712
Yeah your brain imagines weird things as you drift of, bro. It's common, not spoopy at all. Your were probably experiencing a hypnagogic jerk too, which many people experience and there's legitimate scientific explanations behind it.
>>17175728
If you are not a paid shill then you are very ignorant of the purpose of this board. I think you might be better accommodated on /sci/ .
>>17175712
You might be supprised to find that our brains are many many times more complex and intricate than any human made machine, be it computer, radio, television, telephone.. whatever. Your mind can do more than all those other devices combined. There is a reasonable chance that the image your mind observed was a real event being experienced by another person distanced by either or both space and time but connected intrinsically by other natural human means. You might like to read this book (pic related). It is sold as military history non fiction.

>>17175677
Idk why that is a gif my phone is trash desu I'm sorry
so was this ever used to summon anything?
Or is it just the image of the satanic bible
>>17175551
Satanist here.
The Sigil of Baphomet, as refined by Anton LaVey, is not used to "summon" anything. Rather, we believe that one should ally oneself with dark gods and demons rather than attempt to control them. In doing so, we realize that these gods are not without, but within, and exist as teachers, guides and expressions of carnality.
Rather, the Sigil of Baphomet is used in ritual. It is placed above the altar. If one prefers, an inverted cross may be used instead, preferably made from silver. Anything but gold will do.
>>17175551
Yes, you can use the symbol of the CoS as a medium. The sigil of baphomet is normally inscribed with LvTHN, the eternal Void Worm through whom the marriage of Satan/Lilith is consecrated and through whom manifests the union of primordial energies. If you are venturing into esoteric Satanism, I highly suggest a left hand resource center of some sorts, such as the following links.

Isn't the inverted cross an extremely christian symbol? Petrus said he wasn't worthy to be crucified like Jesus, so it was turned upside down? This is my big problem with satanism, it's all just borrowed symbols.
>haven't been able to sleep in the dark for 3 weeks now
Fuck sake. All because I for some reason hallucinated a woman with a veil on looking all sad at me while literally sitting on the side of my bed. She also happened to look golden and bright.
After about 4 seconds of staring at the thing I leant up and started randomly grabbing out at it, then laid back and it was still there. So I busted out my laptop for light and it started to "swirl" away.
It wasn't even that terrifying really, but the thought of something even more sinister popping up get me to no end. Has anyone else ever had this, you know without having psychosis? I haven't seen anything since.
gets me to no end*
>>17175250
I don't have any consolation for you OP except to say that you're not alone. I've experienced similar things and I know other people have too. I converted to Christianity to deal with my shit but it wasn't a quick fix. I wish you the best of luck.
>>17175250
Robot here. What kinds of emotions did.you feel during this? Also any type.of.drugs used recently. And were you half asleep when you saw this?
So /x/, have you guys ever had a dream about someone you've never met? I have had a recurring woman in my dream.
>Pic related is the closest thing I can liken her to
>The dream is always different, but she is the same
>we're always in a relationship of some degree, but never physical
>i made it a point to ask her name, and she told me gespane or gespana, can't remember now
Does this make any sense to anyone?
Same thing happened to me. I saw a girl in dreams for about 2 years. When I met her irl is when things got really crazy.
Bump for some interest.
>>17175131
I Have a similar experience.
>Recurring woman in my dreams.
>She always appears in them when I'm having a bad time.
>We act like we have been friends for a long time, so I never get to know her name, or any personal info on her.
>She actually has said a couple of times that she is my best friend.
>Doesn't look like anybody I knew.
>She always seem happy and flirty.
Kinda strange just thought I would share it for people to get a kick out of it
Not really worried that it edited itself that doesn't really bother me just thought whatever it was came out looking like something out of the norm and pretty cool so I figured I'd share it
>>17174904
>it edited itself and came out looking like this
I'll take "things that never happened" for $800, Alex.
>>17174904
So you are staring at a pic of Kylo Ren or the Fallout dude... Great...
Hello /x/ guys...
I'm gonna be quick...
Do you have an idea what is this could be?
Im seriously worried about my dad, its says this light is making tons of aparitions is his house.
Any idea?
What? That speck of dust illuminated by the camera flash?

Are you fucking serious? That's a floating dust particle! Do you think all falling snowflakes are spirits too?
Are Hindu / Buddhist gods real spirit entities or are they just religious bullshit?

I'm looking for an /x/-tier comic that takes place on a ship stranded at sea. There are people that live in the engine room level and things become stranger the farther down you get. The main character goes down and finds humanoid creatures that came in through a hole in the ship's hull.
Anybody have any idea which comic it is? Dumping random pics in the meantime

Hey /x/. I wonder at time, is life proof of the god, or God proof of the life???
Neither, It's all an illusion.
I don't think that's how proofs work.
>inb4 fedora
Not even atheist.. I just am too cynical to trust any religion.
>>17174813
Why bother wasting your time thinking about it. If god exists and you meet him, he'll have no argument to why you ignored religion. He made you that way, how can he punish you for it?
If god doesn't exist then you have wasted so much time thinking and praying on it. Some people waste their entire lives for a god. It doesn't really matter though.
Does work slow down or bend time?
When I was an intern for 1 month in school it felt longer than the last 3 years when I was a NEET and did nothing but sleep, eat, fap, smoke, play and read - day in day out.
What's the explanation for this peculiar phenomenon? Does performing certain ritualistic movements with your body actually open a wormhole to another dimension where the laws of physics are suspended?
