What direction could life go otherwise?
Our main thing is to survive. That's what the theory of evolution says and the last time I've checked it was pretty accurate. We can't live without oxygen. But that's just how we are built based on our planet resources. Everything started from organisms so basic that they could adapt to basically everything.
I can imagine a vast, desolated planet of floating jelly-like creatures that are transparent and are feeding of the dust that is floating in the atmosphere. They have no goal in life whatsoever, they don't even have hands to do something. They just float and divide into two when they get bigger.
I don't like the vision of humanoid aliens with faces and shit. It isn't anything new. I always imagined aliens like something so much different that some people would deny it. Couldn't they have some attributes that are impossible for us and vice versa? Like we have consciousness and some species would be lighter than air.
What are /x/ theories of what could life do somewhere far far away?

So up the road from where I live is this old as fuck gravestone it has no names or dates, just the cross carved on both sides. It looks like an old Spanish cross to me, not positive. Any ideas? Also old cemetery thread

I've been trying for an entire year, 14 months exactly. Regular lucid dreamer here. Reality checks in dreams are a load of shit unfortunately.
What you need to do is set alarms at short intervals, 5-10 min gaps usually works best for me.
It works when napping but I find it works best when you set alarms for every 5/10 mins 60-90 mins before you need/want to get up in the morning. It makes you drift in and out of sleep and becomes lucid for me, best tip I can offer.
Also before you go to sleep, as you're drifting just imagine shit, I mean anything. Really, the crazier the better. I find my dreams begin to take from there even well before REM kicks in I find it helps with vividness if you struggle with that also.
Something has been really disturbing me about the DK rap.
It may seem innocent at the surface, but I think there's a hidden message trying to push some kind of agenda, or a dark plea for help buried in there somewhere; possibly both.
Firstly, Tiny's lyrics. "This Kong's got style, so listen up dudes" What is this trying to convey? That she is the only one who has style? Is it implying that males cannot, in fact, posses style? The use of "dudes" would lean to this interpretation, as that statement that she has style, so the men should listen implies that they are without style or possibly incapable of obtaining it.
However, there's another layer to this. It isn't simply saying that women have style and men do not. As it feels the need to state that "THIS kong has style." This phrasing would imply style is an abnormal thing that needs to be addressed if one has it.
There is a darker theme to it when we prod even deeper. Lankey Kong is introduced as "He has no style, He has no grace" Why would it feel the need to explain he does not posses style? It implies that at one point he did, in fact , have style. Could Tiny have somehow taken his style? They're both introduced right next to each other. If this is true, then who could have stolen his grace?
The "Dk rap" is a song about a Kong who is a shell of his former self, robbed of all his good qualities, forever shunned by society tho he has committed no wrongs.

Lurking for 5 years now, and this is my first post. I've been interested in Illuminati/Secret Societies recently and I was hoping you guys could help me find some general information.
There is a lot of cringy, bad information out there like the following:
-gold standard/international monetary fund complaints from amateur economists

-moon landing hoaxes
-rap music videos
-interviews with 90th degree masons who are selling a book on their escape from a cult
-youtube slideshows with ominous music
Not that those things aren't important to some people, but I'm really just interested in the history and symbolism of the societies. I don't need terrified predictions about the future, I just want to know things about these group from the past.
