Can any /x/philes help me identify this structure I found in the woods? I have reason to suspect it's some sort of gate...or that it's at least a sealed entry to a bigger structure, perhaps an ossuary...as I've found what I believe are human remains nearby as well. My gf has been plagued by nightmares of this thing ever since the night we found it, and I'll admit it gives me the chills as well. Any thoughts, /x/?

It's hard to believe these things when you've been raised in a relatively secular/agnostic family. But it's my mother's story which may sound a bit cliche'y that makes me want to consider it as a possibility:

When I suggested her that It could've possibly been the endocrine system reacting to herself being in shock and disbelief she added, that the sensation was unique, never felt before and since.
Perhaps that was a soul or at least some sort of an energy leaving her body?

Broadly speaking when scientists speculate on the existence of other dimensions then no one shouts them down and says it isn't possible just that at this stage that you can't test for it and prove it.
Well, again generally speaking then these theories often turn out to be true and if so then quite clearly other dimensions will be absolutely teeming with life, just as this one is.
It's not much more than common sense, really.

Does anyone have any experience in lucid dreaming where they are able to, in a way, relive happy days of their childhood? Not even specific memories, per se.
Just miss being young and carefree. I'm an attorney by day, /x/ophile by night and I dont see a lot of my close and older friends anymore.
The thought occurred to me as I prepare for the week and an old song from my junior high days came on pandora. I then remembered, just last night, that I had a dream where I had acknowledged it was a dream, but I woke up not long after it.

I've been having lucid dreams for some time and even after a lot of experience i can say it's really hard for me to fully control the dream. One thing is being lucid and doing stuff such as flying, other is to change the drream subject completely and re-modelating it to fit your desire. In that regard, I think it's really hard tp direct a dream to your childhood memories. I'm a teen so i never tried to do something like trying to relive child experiences and memories, but what i have done lots of times is just "summon" people i wanted tp see in my dreams, so I think this would be a good start for you OP. If you are lucid in a dream, try focusing on a person and he/she may appear. As for being lucid in a dream, i can't give an accurate answer because it's natural for me, but you should take a look at the FILD method, i've seen lots of ppl saying they have success with it.

There was only one time where I was able to control my dreams. It was probably a decade ago, back in high school. lol Most times I've been able to recognize I was in a dream (For example, last night), I didn't seem to care. "Oh this is a dream" and I continued with the theme of a dream like it was every day normal life. Then I woke up.
Did the last part make sense?

Apparently this was a mammoth that had been scraped along the ground by a glacier, this was my reasoning during my sleep. Completely mental.
