I'll post mine, happened about 6 years ago when I was 15. I was a freshman in high school
but starts out when I was in middle school.

>town park by lake also has train tracks by it.
>one of my friends goes down the train tracks for about a mile
>then goes off a bit into the forest and sets up a small camp
>my friends and I go there a few times in middle school, not to into it.
>high school rolls around and we have jack shit to do towards the end of the school year
>we start going to the camp a bit more
>set up fences from fallen trees and branches
>fire pits, a ton of other shit
>I was one of the kids who read a lot about cryptids and other spooky shit
>my parents and friends also told me a ton of stories about spooky shit in the forests
>I don't pay attention, continue on and have fun with building shit with my friends
>school ends and we go out there
>nice summer day
>we're out there for a good 5 or 6 hours
>it's around 6:00 - 6:30
>we had 6 people all together, me included
>we stuck in groups of two in case something were to go wrong
>me and one of my friends decide to go off from the camp and make a separate area
>pairs of friends circle around and are just charting the area and coming by to check on us and see what's up

I didn't say anything, I personally believed that whatever chased us had gone back and fucked what we made up. That place was pretty weird.
we also went further up the tracks one day before all of this happened and found a ton of spent shotgun shells on the side of the tracks, fresh ones too.

what do you guys think it could have been?
