Hi /wsr/, I have an MSI GT62VR 6RE laptop that I think has some residual electricity inside of it (keyboard keeps bugging out and other issues). The problem is, I can't remove the battery and press the power button, because the battery is inside of the casing and opening it would void the warranty on the laptop. How can I release the build up of static inside of it if I can't remove the battery?

Also, does anyone have a clue as to what could be causing it? I think residual static electricity has caused it to fry the graphics card before (I just received it back from an RMA for artifacting/freezing yesterday, in which they replaced the graphics card), but I have no idea why. It seems stupid to have to send it in for an RMA again just so the static can be released from inside of it. Pic related, this is what the computer looked like the day I sent it for the RMA. It froze and artifacted right after booting.

Ok, so I got a new computer and microsoft edge wasnt working so I decided to reset the computer (like a dumbass, Later I would find out that I could just open IE in the folders and just do whatever and not be in this mess). So it resets, reinstalls windows 10, but somethings wrong.

There are two accounts with the name defaultuser0, and after a few google searches, I was able to delete one of them and create another with safe boot and command prompt. While in the account I created, there is barely anything there.

Its my screen. I was able to download chrome through IE.
The windows button doesnt activate. Taskbar refuses to work, nor the search bar. Task view works alright.
Certain programs will not come up, such as command prompt being ran as an admin, but normal command prompt works.
Also, please know I barely know anything about computers

There is an image the cover of a comic book, which was posted in a few /fit/ threads a month or two ago. It looks like it could be from the 80s, definitely not a contemporary style of art. It shows a gym, with two women talking in the foreground and a man lifting a barbell in the background. One woman says to the other something to the affect of "I went out with him, but he was only interested in pumping iron." If anyone has a copy of this image, I would be very grateful. Pic unrelated.

Lately, my HP Notebook laptop (specs in picture) has been turning off after only 10-15 minutes on battery power, though it works just as well as it always has when plugged in. I ran a battery check test, but it could not detect any issues with the battery. I also checked the computer's advanced power settings, and there is nothing there that looks like it would cause such a problem.

I am inclined to believe that my laptop's battery has actually gone to shit, despite what the computer says; when it does abruptly turn off, it is like what happens when your computer runs out of power, and once it turns off, I cannot turn it back on until I plug in the charger. It's at least some kind of hardware problem, I think.

If my belief that the battery is malfunctioning seems accurate, where should I purchase a replacement? If something else seems to be the issue, what can I do about it?

I am also considering simply replacing the laptop with something better. What laptops would you suggest?
