Usually that's the screen ribbon cable.
- download service manual from manufacturer
- buy new ribbon cable from ebay
- split laptop
- dismantle screen
- replace cable
- reassemble screen
- join laptop
If your laptop has a super-slim screen or a built-in Wacom, you might not be able to dismantle it, in which case you need a new one.

Most of this, but make sure it's not the backlight first, otherwise a cable won't fix shit. Shine a torch on the screen from a 45 degree angle and see if you can see anything.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Okay, Keit-Ai is a copypasta that's been going around /a/ for years.
It's a pitch for the "write an anime plot" thread, and it's actually quite a good one*. Its pastaing has reached critical mass recently, though, and everyone's fed up of it.
Makoto Shinkai makes pretty animes with clouds and emotional gang-rape. When he's not doing that, he makes TV commercials, because why the hell not.
He made a commercial with a cellphone in it, someone slapped the title onto it, and >implied that he was making Keit-Ai, when really he wasn't.
Keit-Ai is a pun that works in Weeb but doesn't work in Japanese. A keitai (携帯) is a cellphone, and ai (愛) is romantic love. The pun doesn't work in Japanese, though, because in Japanese 携帯 is spelled ke-i-ta-i, and in Japanese you can't split "ta" in half anymore than in English you could split "m" or "w".
Oh, and it "finds a way" because Shinkai produces stuff that's like KyoAni, but better, and for ages KyoAni has "found a way".
Usually a way to produce shit that no-one wants like Endless Eight and Pachinko machines, instead of a sequel to FMP.
* if it wasn't, no-one would have copypasta'd it.

Saw a cartoon awhile ago on /b/ about a guy who didn't want to get things for himself. Hey guys, I need some help. I'm building my first desktop and I'm at a standstill. I only need a power supply and water cooling kit and then to wire it all up.
Current build:
Motherboard ASrock killer 990fx
Processor AMD FX 8350 4ghz
RAM 32gb crucial 1866 (in four eights)
Case NZXT Noctis 450
I know I'm going to have to get at least a 1000w power supply because I am going to be adding a second r9 390 and a 360mm water cooler, but here are my questions
1. Which power supply should I use? which one is the best for long life and power efficiency, looking for around 250 max
2. Which 360mm water cooler should I use? Is a open kit suggested or should I get a factory sealed AOI? Not looking for "THE BEST EVER HOLY SHIT" but low maintenance, good performance, and preferably something I don't have to drain and refil every 6 months. It's not the most taxing thing ever but I'll just forget.
Keep in mind this is my first build and I'm kind of flying blind. I don't even know how to wire this shit, my friend is gonna do it and teach me how in the proccess

I am looking for a theme that would work for this type of site I am creating;
I want to set up a wordpress website where suppliers can basically create a profile with all the products they offer and their contact info and where professional buyers can search for these products and get in contact with the suppliers. I was thinking about setting up categories (for example Foodstuff, Electronics) and subcategories (Electronics --> House appliances). And by clicking on a category or subcategory you'd find a list with all the suppliers that offer those products in a grid layout (like a webshop but without prices of course). After clicking on the name or logo of a supplier you'd find a page with info about the company and the products they offer.
Does anybody know of such a theme or something that comes close?

I have this paper to deliver and the teacher demands to write about the main memory manegment algorithms and their attributes. I'm searching around the web and I find some algorithms but I'm not if they are the main ones.

The ways the kernel tracks pages?
* As long as processes don't violate segmentation, they're free to manage their memory however the fuck they like. A standard stack and heap is convention, and most CISC processors accelerate stack/heap operations using a conventional layout, but the OS does not actually enforce this in any way.
