I'm looking for anime with beautiful, stylized designs that aren't minimalistic. I'd say the works or Ikuhara, Takeshi Koike Kenji Nakamura or a show like Casshern Sins, Gankutsuou and Woman Named Fujiko Mine would count. The designs in Yuasa's works are stylized but more minimalist so I'm not looking for those.

I have a summer assignment for an English 407 class I'm taking next year, and one part of the assignment requires that we read a book of our choice and respond to a prompt.

Choose a novel or play in which a character must contend with some aspect of the past, either personal or societal. Then write an essay in which you show how the character's relationship to the past contributes to the meaning of the work as a whole.
I am requesting suggestions for good novels that would fall under this theme without requiring a huge amount of reading. Less than 300 pages is preferred, but acceptable. I am working full-time and will not have the time without straining myself for anything more.

Who can help me with a particular song that appeared on this otherwise crappy meme when the dad on pic related had ayy lmao instead of his head.
How the lyrics went is the question however I remember they were like Indian or something, very repetitive, like 4 verses together and one line featured some variation of Dalai Lama name over and over again (like "dalailamolo dalailamolo dalailamolo..").
Apart from that it's at least for me total gibberish. It's been on some shitposting group together with a vid with this song and a fast paced techno beat. Any help would be appreciated brothers

So I saw someone on the bus watching this anime that seemed really interesting. I'm too beta to walk up to people to ask them what they're watching irl so I'll ask for it here.
It seemed like a slice of life/school life anime.
There was a tall, bald student who had a broken arm.
There was a scene where the tall, young-looking orange-blonde-haired teacher asks the class a question that confuses the fuck out of them until Shy Girl stands up and answers.
Shy Girl looks like Mei from Another, but without the eyepatch.
MC Guy is Standard Anime MC Template #2, basically the messy-black-haired kind. Like Houtarou from the anime Hyouka.
There was a school/class play at night where all the parents came to watch their kids dance and shit. A mother who keeps holding an orange is comforted by an elderly couple.
Note: Mother is probably Shy Girl's mom, they look similar.
While the class play happens, MC Guy encounters Shy Girl crying in a room with a bed and torn wallpaper. They talk.
Then I got off the bus.
I couldn't figure out the plot because I don't read Asianese. But now I'm curious as fuck as to what the anime is.
I'll give whoever answers me rarish pepes and a lot of gratitude.

First balance the reaction of EtOH and O2
C2H6O + (3/2)O2 -> 2 CO2 + 3H2O
Then apply delta_H = [bonds broken - bonds formed].
Or, experimentally, measure the heat released on exhaustive combustion.

Like the first anon said, the series is just a bullet hell where you play as cute girls, usually Reimu and Marisa, and you can get true endings by never using a continue (you can still die, you just can't use a continue) which is what makes them fun and gives the games quite a bit of replay value.
And like he said again, start with the 6th game, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. It's the first of the "actually decent-looking" Touhou games and doesn't require a DOS emulator to play it. To go along with that, from what I've played, it's exactly as people describe it as being one of the easier Touhou games to get into because the bullet patterns start out relatively easy and then slowly build up to crazy, but doable patterns, while some later games have me thinking "how do I even dodge this?"
Have fun. And just remember that Shift both slows you down (to better dodge bullets) and also focuses your fire which is incredibly helpful.
