Yeah I got a bunch of emulators on my pc with a bunch of games too. You can try some of the best of each system since they're available, ps2 emulator is also good, try Clocktower, or resident evil 0 and remake for the gamecube.

What is a good 1-2 season anime that a pleb can get into? With the exception of the 'Normie tier' anime (DBZ, KLK, attack on titan) I've only seen:

>Gantz
>Tri gun
>Noir

Gantz is probably my favorite out of the ones I've listed. The death and love triangles really intrigued me.

Hi /wsr/, please recommend me a bleak and hopeless anime.

Preferably something with a "bad" ending, like the protag kills themself or something. The anime doesn't necessarily need to be something sad, but more along the lines of Kaiji. Don't worry about recommending something I've already seen, I hardly watch any anime.

I'm looking for a picture I found a few years ago that I'd really like to see again.

It's basically a hot air balloon battleship, but it's really practical looking in design. It's a giant balloon with what basically looks like a basket shaped ship of the line (HMS Victory style) warship underneath it with a very bulbous and spherical appearance. It's against the background of a giant forest/valley kind of deal. Any help is appreciated XOXOXOXO

Anyone have any experience with chromecast or other streaming devices like that?
I want to buy one so I can connect my laptop to my tv and watch some of my downloaded videos.
I've done some research, and I'll I've found was you could stream webpages. I don't know if this is true for streaming your desktop

Chromecast has an experimental function to stream video files; it's not a fully implemented function yet, so it's kind of iffy, but it's worked so far, except that you have to go back to your PC between each video: there is no playlist function. However, with a laptop, that shouldn't be much issue.

Get the last version, it's snappier and more discreet than the first one. I am using it with my Moto G 3rd gen and it works fine, never tried a laptop though.

Hello /wsr/, I present quite a challenge for you. I am looking for a download/place I can buy:

Friends of Fiddler's Green - On the Road To Mandalay,

where Friends of Fiddler's Green is the artist, and On the Road to Mandalay is the album.

It's a folk album from 1994, by a group based in Toronto. Their website is here:

however, as far as I can tell, it is now defunct. There is no way for me to purchase the album from that site.

I bought it back in '95 on a casette tape when I was in Toronto with my brother and my wife at one of their shows. I saw news of several of the members passing away - they were already old men when I first saw them - and wanted to find the tape again. In particular, they do a very nice version of On the Road to Mandalay, which is different from any other version I have heard. I have tried looking on YouTube but their arrangement appears to be unique.

Googling has not been terribly helpful. If you could help me I would appreciate it. I think sometimes people "rip" these tapes and put them on the internet - getting a copy like that would be very convenient. But any way will do - thanks in advance.

i have a Compaq Presario CQ57-229WM Notebook that i got from my son that i cannot do anything with. it is filled with viruses and i tired going on Windows.com but all they gave me was "The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options." when i went to the device manufacturer website i have no clue what do to.
what would be the best way to do a clean reinstall

they have a built in recovery program (a small partition on the hard drive) to reinstall windows, if it is viruses then you need to do the destructive Factory Reset option

burn a windows disk or use a usb and use the pre installed key. that s how we are doing in a small firm.

I have a 2 gig stick of ram and a 4 gig stick. The 4 gig keeps giving me a memory management error (BSoD) when it's hooked in. Is there a way to fix this or should I just replace my ram? I current;y have the 4 gig out (for obvious reasons) and only the 2 gig in. My PC is so much slower without the 4 gig.

Use memtest86, if you see any errors remove the faulty RAM. If you don't want to trash it, try to test it on another PC and see if the errors are still present.

If that gives the same error in different slots, It's probz the RAM. If its different, you might consider trying a different pc as well, as it might be the motherboard (I doubt it)
If all fails,
