The problem isn't people pointing out errors, its the tone they take when doing it. Often it's "not good enough, this area is all messed up" and not "hey man, I appreciate the work but can the try and fix the corner area thanks".
I'm not a god of QC, but when someone is asks nicely about something wrong I feel pretty bad and try fix it perfectly, but when someone is rude I just don't bother, they don't deserve it imo.

You really mean "retrace"?
That sounds like you want something vectored.
There's a thread for that.

Depends on the nature and location of the unwanted pixels.
Select the object, then reduce the selection by a pixel. Inside feathering sometimes helps too.
Now invert the selection. Your tools will only affect the outer border.
Run the eraser around. If pixels remain, repeat the masking process.
If you've erased too much, Gaussian blur the border. That smooths it, but also lightens those pixels.
Duplicate the border on a new layer and set it to multiply. If still too light, continue making duplicates.

I think most of us do it to learn new skills, hell when I first started here there wasn't much more I could do than resizing and heal brush.

I put the picture through waifu2x to upscale the resolution and then I tried to do it again but waifu2x only does it so big so I just upscaled it further using photoshop, it came out surprisingly well considering I made it 100 times larger.
First time rendering an image has lagged my computer, and the second image literally breaks my photoshop so I can't render it...

Corel PhotoPaint had no trouble enlarging 1000%. The PNG is 13 meg.

Took a few seconds but the program didn't balk or become unstable.

If either your PC or Waifu2x can't hack it, I suggest slicing the image into halves or quarters and dealing with them separately.

Try creating a simple image -- uniform background with a few squares or circles -- and enlarge that. Might give you a clue where the problem lies.

PhotoPaint (and CorelDraw. They come together) are comparable to their Adobe equivalents.
Similar enough that I can get ideas from Photoshop books and offer advice to PS users even though I've never used PS myself.
And you buy it, not "rent" it. Much cheaper over time.
PhotoPaint doesn't have "content aware". At least I don't have it. But mine's not the latest version.
