My main point was that there is no reason why the writers need to withhold that information from the MC, when the reader already know who the characters are. We don't get any satisfaction when the information eventually drops.
I could understand it for maybe one character or so, so that they could include some shenanigans related to the MC not knowing their name. But 2/3 of the girls introduced so far are unnamed, one of them was ran into multiple times too.
