Lemme break it down. The game manipulates neurotransmitters when they implicate mechanics like move rerolls via TMs, which before was just a dice roll hoping for the best, and now alleviated by using the new raid system.
Any mechanic that resembles gambling (egg incubators & hatching, rolling for moves that don't suck, or farming for good IV rolls) are implemented purposefully to make people pay money for the game, increase the addiction factor, and it's incredibly successful as opposed to giving the player almost total control over their Pokémon. If moves were chooseable from the start there'd be even less diversity in gyms when they first started and people wouldn't be going for their second or third dragonite if they weren't cuck'd by steel wing/hyper beam, people would get top tier mons faster if egg hatching wasn't such a gamble, the treadmill actually infuriates players in a way that does make them continue to play (>>32817100).
Essentially you are not the average player, or the kind of player niantic cares about, and if they weren't creating a game that ensured they'd make money through these mental manipulations, we wouldn't have it at all. The most annoying thing with sooofers is that they can easily dominate gyms with little effort. A while back ago before announcement of the rework I finally got like 5 top tier defenders and I placed them all in 5 gyms pretty close to where I live. 2 days later a spoofer or two in a team other than mine went around my whole city and wiped every gym clean and filled them with the same damn pokemon. It was obviously some fat salty autist because some of the usernames on the accounts were along the lines of "fuck team mystic" and my city was predominately controlled by mystic. Chicago Pokefest will just be a guaranteed place for a Legendary spawn - while everywhere else it'll be a random location in a city/town. All those attending Pokefest will be there and be given warning and will have lots of allies to get the Legendary mon.

We cant compete with spoofers who have 12+ dragonite tyranitar snorlax blissey with 100% perfect IVs, have to put in no effort to go from gym to gym or pokestop to pokestop. Honestly, by now we just play for the social element and the bbqs we have every weekend out in the park by the sea we go to.

Theres a gym in a nearby island you can only access by boat, but we call it the traffic light because it switches colors every 3 minutes despite noone being atround.

Theres a gym 5 miles off the city, and this one time we organized a group to go take it and after we did, and NOONE ELSE was around for miles in any direction, it started changing colors like another traffic light

Im thankful for the new TMsa because they will allow us to improve the quality of our mons against the horde of perfect IV/movesets that spoofers have, but itsa not enough, NIANTIC has to ban them somehow

Those places were usually protected by botters or spoofers so I could gym sit until another autist took it down though, still the new gym system may give you a better chance to win, but probably not if you're the only instinct player like I used to be.

Niantic is fucked. The coin collection button is now completely gone out of the shop besides us not getting a freee round of coins after the gym shut down occurred right right before yesterday's collection time, yes I was waiting too when all my mons lost their gym badges assigned to them all of a sudden.

I think we are going to get jewed even harder when the gyms drops since Niantic needs more money cause way less active paying players since they can't regularly and competently update a simple game.
