So, is there no place to grind from level 60 to 80? I've only found the Stamina Challenge in Tunod but my level 60 mons can't even compete. Trainers in Rijon are 10 levels beyond me too, and typechecking is only gonna carry me so far.

I just got the gas mask and I have no idea what it's used for. I figure it's important since it's a key item, but I have no idea where to go.

I backtracked with Surf everywhere I could think of but all I've found is items, TMs, a "secret pokémon centre" with another board game, the Battle Tower and one legendary that was 20 levels above my team but I was lucky enough to catch in a Quick Ball, no new way forward, no new town, no Gym (the one in Spurge is still locked), nothing but routes closed by Strength boulders (don't have the HM) or guards that won't let me through for a variety of reasons (I thought I may be able to leave the quarantined town with the gas mask, but no).

This game could really benefit from a hint shop or something of the like.

I may be able to fix the save incompatibility (I know how in theory), but I don't have time to do it right now. I'm not really prepared to update the patch unless I can get anondev to integrate it so that I don't need to repeat their work everytime they release an update; the noRTC patch modifies very little and in files that aren't touched by any of the other changes.

only 2 resistances, 5 weaknesses (well 4 and tri-attack) and offensively its resisted by 5 types and only 3 are weak to it

Do I have to mine in a specific location to get fossils?

Found a bug: You can get off your bike on routes 49 or 47B, but only when you enter them from route 48B. You can't get off when you enter them from the other adjacent maps. You can go into route 48B while walking but you'll still be subject to the forced downwards movement. After a wild encounter or a trainer battle on route 48B you're automatically put on your bike again, even if you started surfing down from route 47B.

Note that this still doesn't allow you to reach the misplaced token as the automatic downwards movement prevents you from starting to surf and the water from 47B doesn't connect to the water that has the misplaced token.

Where is the 16th gym? Someone said it was in the Eagulou cave, but that doesn't seem to be correct - one leads to the prison where I can't do anything and the other leads to the cave whose only exits lead to a maze with the reflect tm, the exit to the route and the egg rating dude.

Yeah, you're in an unfinished map with nothing in it, that's why anon told you to save before checking it out.

It'd be nice if I could figure out which of the unnamed event flags are unused; then we could try finishing the map and adding Mew there. We know it uses the same tileset as the Tunod region, and we know it planned to use the music that plays on Faraway Island, which isn't finished in this leaked version but Polished Crystal has a version of that we could use, the map already has all the pointers it needs, we just need to make a small room, add a Mew NPC, and script a battle for it that checks off a "fought Mew" flag after doing it.

It also gives more value to economy and money menagement in Prism, even if you finish the game you still have to use repels if you want to revisit some areas. Been messing around with gameshark codes and found that IV altering ones still work. Using a code to change the IVs of the first pokemon in your party to 15/10/10/10 produces a shiny. If you make them shiny, the visual change is instant, but stats will only change after a level up/depositing and withdrawing them from the PC.

What's the catch rate for the shiny ball?

I really like the 8th gym. I'd like to see something like that happen in a mainline game, where the leader takes your pokemon and you have to win them back one at a time.

I beat the league, it was easier than most gym leaders sadly, my Weavile become overleveded because he sweeped Lance and half of the team of the flying dude, my Ampharos was a bit of a jobber in this one and couldnt get exp points
The ice lady was a joke, but hail+snow cloak was kinda annoying, the flying dude had a bad team, the ground one needed something for Ludicolo or any water type actually, and the 4th member has a bad team even when he wasnt restricted to a monotype.
Lance is easy to sweep with Weavile even with a big lvl diffence, i lose once because Garchomp trigger sand veil

Nope, all the Stop&Swap Legendaries require full Rijon access to get. The only Legendaries you can get are Fambaco and Libabeel; the latter is in Acqua Mines, but apparently only at a certain time of day. I found it the first time I checked though.
