Rename the ips file to

pokeprism.ips

Then grab your emulator, for example

Double click on the exe and open pokeprism.gbc from file/open.

Opening the emulator first and then selecting your rom files will work on every emulator from Dolphin to Citra to VBA to Desmume.

And to use Zeii's latest patch, delete the pokeprism.ips currently in your game folder. Then download carl.ips, rename it to pokeprism.ips and put it where your old pokeprism.ips was.

All the way in the back there's an area where you have to send one of your Pokemon in.
In there, you have a couple of quests until you can eventually enter the lab and it's somewhere in there.

Also that Pokemon only area is a really good grinding spot. Yanma gives over 300 EXP and if you die, you just get set back to the entrance but you get healed back so you don't even have to go to the Pokecenter.

Is it just me or is the level scaling early-on kinda... really off? The palette squad in the first real dungeon had pokemon a good 6-7 levels higher than the wild things in the area. It made it a real pain to add a shinx to my party since it was so far behind everything else and couldn't handle itself in a trainer battle. That and things like the bagon flinchlocking me and the whismur with laughing gas seem really questionable. I'm liking the wild pokemon selection though. It seems to actually progress like a normal Pokemon game.

In the city with the game corner I boxed my Larvitar and Quilava and I'm running with Pidgeotto/Vulpix/Luxio/Cacnea now. Is there a nearby bulky water type I can pick up? I'm gonna need something to surf in the future. I'm almost debating sitting down and grinding the game corner for an Eevee and picking up a water stone.
