So that's still up for debate, we would prefer not to go too far outside what was intended. Finishing the dusknoir lines is plausible as something the devs would do, given the circumstances.

Still if you're going to be a hardass about it, just making carnivine appear in the wild is the more "correct" patch.

The source code is leaked, people have already fixed bugs like Eevee not being able to evolve into Sylveon and crafting being bugged. Right now I'm trying to get crowdmap working right to add Mew to the game (its planned area is obvious but it's not finished and just takes you to a blank map when you try to go there). I already found a blank event flag to use (or it's hopefully blank, it doesn't seem to be used anywhere) and conveniently have music for the area, but I can't get crowdmap to load the map I need to edit.

If you added Mew there, and then just put Zapdos in the Power Plant (I wouldn't try to finish the sidequest planned for it because I know nothing about it, I would just have it chilling there like in HGSS; it's not like Moltres and Aritcuno are hidden very well in the hack), we'd only need to worry about Mewtwo. Mewtwo is the one I'm having the hardest time hypothetically placing, since its location in Brown isn't present in the game at all in Prism. You could try adding it, but I think that stretches the boundaries of what I'm comfortable with adding; I don't want to do something that could potentially go against the spirit of the hack's worldbuilding, there might have been a reason for that area to not exist in Prism. If you don't add plot to it this wouldn't hurt the game that much, but it's still something I'm very cautious about.


As for Carnivine, I don't think it should be replaced just because of all the work it would take. You'd have to compress Dusknoir's cry using the method all Gen 3/4 Pokémon have, make an animated front sprite in addition to the back sprite, overworld sprites, a party sprite, I think we have to be really hesitant about this thing in case the end result would stick out like a sore thumb due to not being as high quality.

It definitely still does, I played the game with 5/6 physical attackers and Fire-types hurt because of burns. Maybe your opponents are using special moves instead of physical.

I think I would just buff Duskclops stats to Dusknoir's. It doesn't gain another type, so the stats are what people are primarily concerned with, unless eviolite snuck it's way in without me noticing.

Cage Keys in the prison doesnt stack, so if you look around and gather keys instead of opening the jail doors one-by-one, the amount of keys in your inventory will stay at 1.

Does location matter when mining for Evolution Stones? When I'm digging in Mound Cave the only stones I've found are fire stones.

At least they gave you more slots than before. Vanilla Crystal has 20 item slots, Prism has 30. I think the PC might also have more slots but I'm not sure.

The bad thing is you can get more key items than you have space for. Some of these key items are consumable but I had to use debug to unfuck my save file because the pocket was full when I tried to grab the Mystery Ticket, which meant I just didn't get the Mystery Ticket and couldn't get it again even after reducing my key pocket size.

Do you only play at night?
If you have the debug version you can use that to warp here (pic related) and ride the cart. it will ask you for the time again. Make sure you have fly or teleport so you can return to your old location. If you don't you can warp back if you copy the original position before changing it.

I don't know if this has been found already, but after I obtained Surf I went to explore a bit and in the Acqua mines, right where you catch Libabeel you can see an inaccessible lower part of the room.
Well, if you stand where the pic shows and go down, you will actually enter the cave, and when you get out you will be on that part of the room.
Basically I was able to reach Phlox town (and the lab) when I still had not explored the Naljo Ruins.

I reset and continued the normal order though, fearing that it would cause the game to break later.

If you decide to add Snorlax to the game I think here on Route 58 would be a good place to put it. It's an optional area on a route with nothing on it but the tunnel to Naljo so it doesn't mess too much with the leaked game, but is required to beat it if you want to go between Botan City and Castro Valley if it was put here. It could be about level 50, which would be just a few levels below your team at this point. There could be other areas that might be better though.

Another thing that works is to go to docs.google.com and see if you can find "Pokemon Prism Data Sheet" in the list. If you click on it from there, it will generate a /edit url with a randomly chosen new #gid, which seems to be the trick to getting in.

So I finished the first E4 and I have to say that overall this game was pretty great. Story wasnt fanfic tier, neat puzzles, encouraged exploring a ton, and more. The rival's character development needed better pacing however. Other than that, 9/10 game and possibly the best hack ever created.

It's definitely a bug, I agree. I'm sad that the bug didn't get fixed for you by doing that, since it worked for me.

If you're playing on PC, you can open up your memory and change that to fix it. DFCF is the memory address for Varaneous's roaming data. The first byte is its species, second byte is its level, third and fourth bytes are its mapgroup and map number. It got stuck at FFA7 for me (a map that doesn't exist and appears as Route 68 on the map), it likely won't be that for you since yours is stuck on a different number, but if it's above 5EXX then it's a map that doesn't exist. Change that to 0E01 to move it to Route 70, and it will behave normally as long as it doesn't move to somewhere else that gets it stuck.
