I honestly never saw a problem with Brock. He was the same as in OS and AG. He was like the big brother of the group always hitting on girls. I agree that he should already have been replaced since AG but in the end i thought he was just like Ash, he would never leave. You can barely do anything with his character so thats for me he was just there. His ending in DP was great tho

For some reason Youtube recommended me to watch an episode of BW where Emolga joined Team Rocket and holy shit, I've never laughed so hard in my life.

BW gets a lot of hate (never understood why desu), but Jesus it was funny as fuck, much of the filler was comedy gold. XY on the other hand was boring as fuck, and tried way too damn hard to be serious. Sure, Ash may have been more competent, but why the fuck does that matter when no matter what Ash isn't ever going to be allowed to win a league?

Thankfully SM looks to be moving back to BW's tone instead of continuing along XY's path.

I liked OG, but it was pretty bad. Ash's team from OG was great though. They all had clear personalities and roles. Squirtle and Charizard were badass.

I liked AG. May was good, the Pokemon Contests gave a bit more to the anime than just battles. Ash's team was okay until Grovyle evolved, but after that it was good. Ash losing to Tyson didn't feel unfair.

BW was shit. Shit rival. Cilan was shit. Iris was okay, but not as good as Dawn or May, or even Misty. Ash's team wasn't good and he lost to a shit rival.
