I'm not even sure if I'm allowed in the parking lot this late but I guess I am because on a couple of occasians people from inside saw me and didn't even comment. It's even funnier considering to spawns inside the conference room which means I have to get too close to comfort sometimes.

I was in your boat but then I hatched a nice one out of a 2k, felt good. Sometimes the Fairy seriously seem rarer even than the starters out of the 2k eggs. Never hatched a Jigglypuff and only one Clefairy; hatched at least 2 of each starter including Pikachu.

The Clefable ultimately ended up with Pound/Psychic so I'm hatching 2ks whenever possible to reroll.

This is my evolution of the day. After amassing 130 Slowpoke candies and not finding any good ones I just said fuck it and evolved my highest CP "pretty decent" 'poke.

Literally no one in my city has a gengar, so when a park nearby me managed to turn into a nest (that spawned around 1-2 gastly an hour lul), I farmed that shit up. Shame I didn't get the poison charge move. I caught a haunter randomly my first day playing and it's my buddy for life now

Worth powering up? It's hatched, so its IVs are alright, but instead of a Dragon slayer I got the defensive moveset instead. Still, I have good experience with Psyshock Hypnos, so I guess it's still usable offensively. Thoughts?

From what I saw while playing with a friend at the same lvl the pokemons have identical CP and I think moveset too (we checked like 3-4 pokemons and had the same moveset) for the people at the same lvl. With other lvls its diferent.

The pokemon you catch in the wild have the same exact ivs and moves. The level of the pokemon is effectively random (between 1 and your trainer level, but same trainer level and same wild mon = same cp for both), eg when i was level 22 caught my first dragonite 546 cp others around me saw 1000-2000, it fled on my gf who was 21 at the time and hers was ??? before it fled on her, her highest mon was probably 1600-1700

And if I am hacked, they took the effort to release all my low CP Kakuna's and pidgeotto's from my last Luck Egg spree? What kind of griefer would waste time deleting all my really crap stuff? Why leave me with 30?
And they've deleted all my potions and revives, but left me with my incense, lures and balls?
I'm level 17, my stockpiles of potions and revives were huge because I rarely get to do that stuff, but leave me with all my valuable and neccesary stuff?
I don't even know whether I can beleive that someone would do it this weirdly.

Nothing even in my journal to indicate some other activity.

I've changed my password and messaged Niantic, but they're not very likely to do fuck all.

Nope. You can triangulate it's position by going out of it's range to make it disappear and deducing the position based on where it isn't. But that takes time, so it can always despawn before.

Different areas have different pokes. For example Clefairy are common where I live (btw them living at high altitudes only is a meme, the area where they are most abundant is barely above 200m above sea).

On the other hand Sandshrew is stuff of myths here, I never saw it, not even in gyms until I hatched one. I'm bound to have it as a buddy if I want a Sandslash anytime soon.

I got the Plus working on my phone, and ended up enjoying its use a lot.

When to use the Plus
>Walking through areas you know have unremarkable or few spawns
>Walking through busy areas with lots of Poké Stops that do not get lured often

>When to not use the Plus
>Parks and places buzzing with activity and interesting spawns

Capturing done through the Plus has some trade offs.
You will never miss throws, but only get one chance due to forced 100% flee rates. You also will not find yourself wasting multiple balls on attempting to catch a single Pokémon and as a result may have more balls at your disposal for when you want to play the game actively.
The battery drain is also considerably slower than playing the game actively.

Red circle is roughly the clefairy nest (drew it a little too far south, didnt look hard enough for good map on google)

Red X is around where dragonites spawn, theyre well known to spawn in clefairy nests.

Blue Xs are where ive found dratini, they used to be full blown nests. Now "only" 1-2 every 30 min are somewhere on the river, which isnt always reachable. Also 1 every 30 min on navy pier which the map cut/left out.

Fortuntately for me, and coincidentally, yeah dragonites spawn not far from dratinis

If i do the Chicago River Walk for a few hours id probably catch 4-5 dratini but never tried that hard

I got/am lucky because my 4th dragonite was 98% and 1500cp and had 60 candies already so just a matter of dust

Unfortunately the Plus prioritises wild encounters over Poké Stops, and you can't tell it to ignore wild pokémon or to alert you if something really important appeared.

You must press the button to attempt a capture or spin a stop when it alerts you.
Here's how it works.

When a wild Pokémon is in range, the LED flashes green and it has long pulses a few times.
Pressing the button attempts a capture, it will flash white with brief pulses simulating Poké Ball shakes.
If it escapes, it'll flash red with three rapid pulses.
If it is caught, it'll flash in rainbows with 5 longer pulses.

When a Poké Stop is in range, the LED flashes blue and it has two-rapid pulses a few times.
Pressing the button spins the stop, it will flash in rainbows and then vibrate a number of times corresponding to the number of items you receive.

There are also continuous Push Notifications every time you do something with your Plus.

Good day /ppg/! I recently got myself to lv 23 using a lucky egg and I was wondering which of these new mons are worth powering up.

I think only the Poliwrath, Pidgeot and Parasect are worth it and I got mostly cucked especially with my Rapidash, Gyarados, Lapras and Starmie. But I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it.

Personally my strategy is to only power up mons I am certain I will use in the future. That is, mons with goos IVs and close to perfect movesets and preferably already high CP. Is this the right way to go about it or am I too cautious with my stardust? I have like 270k piled up right now.
