The absolutely worst flaws it possibly has is the lull on the way to the second gym and that it took so long for Serena to do anything. The first one is bad, but we've seen worse. The second one is abominable, I will admit, but if you liked Dawn, then you'll like Serena's arc. If you didn't, then I can understand. Those are THE weakest points I can make. Everything else either plays to par or does something actually interesting.
