I know this moveset is obviously better than Bite/Bulldoze but does anyone know if it's also better than Fire Fang/Bulldoze? This thing has really great IVs ana Growlithe are really rare in my area. If the moveset is 3rd from the bottom I'll just keep it.

Just learned about IVs in Pokemon Go. Before Nest changes I had raided one an hour away and got two Arcanines. Both are between 30-35%. To top it off I renamed the account to some gay shit so I started over. Now I'm scared I'll never get another Arcanine until trading+breeding happens.

This shit happened to me with Charmander today. It fucking sucks, starters are so hard to come across, and I actually spent time using the point A to point B method to track it down just for it to flee after one pokeball.

To be fair, I should have gone ultra ball + Razz Berry, but I had confidence that a 46 CP charmander would be an easy capture and not flee.


To make matters worse, snorlax appeared in my nearby list after it fled, but disappeared before I could find it.

It's only easier because it seems like Niantic intentionally configured the birds rats and bugs to always waste at least one regular pokeball. The glitch when your first throw goes far over the pokemon's head only happens with the shitmons like Pidgey and Weedle. If not they'll just headbutt, dodge, or break out of your first throw. Sure, sometimes you catch them with one pokeball but it's rare.

I've had a Pidgey headbutt a ball away AFTER it made contact with its forehead.

It seems like the screen doesn't even bother to flash yellow half of the time, and the animation will play and like 5 seconds later the damage happens so I don't even know what the fuck to do besides to kill it before it can get off a blizzard.

Guys, movesets don't mean anything as of now, nor will they ever. The only reason to battle is to take gyms and cash out for coins. Taking on gyms is easy because it is just tapping. The game is a Safari Zome simulator and really nothing else. Catch as many of the possible 145 pokemon now and play for fun.

Hey I used the incense after missing the first lapras and seeing the dugtrio on my radar. I walked to where I thought it might be, but no the incense didn't bring it.

I used the second incense as a precaution for the snorlax but as u can see from my pic, the snorlax didn't spawn cause of me. (Incensed mons have a purple ring around them and idt show up on radar)

What did you do?

Hatched an Eevee from a 10k today, was sad at first but then saw that it had 14/15/15 IV's - named it Rainer (guess it really does only work once) and it became a Flareon. Luckily it has Fireblast (compared to a 95% Flareon I have that has Flamethrower) All in all pretty happy, going to be the new fire replacement for my team (no growlithes around me)

On top of that I found a Dratini that's 15/14/14 but it's going to be a long time before I can evolve it to Dragonite. I already have a dragonite that's 15/10/15 with dragon breath / claw so it's great for offense. Since I'm slowing down in levels I'll eventually evolve the 98% one I just caught - hopefully it'll have the same moveset but I wouldn't be too upset with it getting steel wing / hyperbeam to serve as a defensive one.

It's 2:30am here so I'm about to go and take over 8 gyms, gotta get that stardust to power up my Flareon

You can claim coins the moment you win it.
If you're wanting to hold onto multiple at once for more coins, or if you've claimed the gym before your timer has reset for some reason, sure, but otherwise you can just hit that button as soon as you put a mon in there to get that loot.

Caught my first Magmar today. Terrible IVs, but it's my third-highest CP and has good fire attacks. Catching him made me feel better after a crappy gym outing where I got the 1-HP glitch twice and couldn't collect any coins for the day.

In my legit account that I've been using for a month I've only seen 84 so far.

I have another one that was just for scanning until I installed the pokiimap app that lets you catch mons and loot stops while scanning, so I installed nox a few days ago to see what I've picked up and I've already found 51. I'm just screwing around with that account though, collecting super weak ones and leaving them as easy targets in unattended gyms in my area.

It's more like you can find much higher CP commons, which can be annoyingly hard to catch due to higher internal level, rather than the catch rate in general gets more difficult.

I'm 26 and don't have much difficulty on most Rattata catches, but every now and again a 350+ one comes along and it can be a bastard to catch. Had one eat 10 Pokeballs.

I've been kinda lucky with 10k eggs (11 out of 127) but not so much with the hatches themselves
