It's much better to wait for them to set up a gym of their own, especially if it's a group that will level it, and then bust it clean. Repeat until they run out of curatives/patience. I'm pretty sure SE only does x1.25 damage and resisting a hit has a similar effectiveness. It's an utter fucking joke. STAB+SE can make for some meaningful difference, but it largely means shit.

The god tier Pokemon can muscle through type disadvantage with ease because of their sheet numbers.
