If you're driving, cruise control maintains your speed at whatever you set it constantly at.

Yeah, I was there last night and there were tons of people over there. I managed to score a Grimer and a Hitmonlee on my last trip and I heard that some folks managed to score a Snorlax at the entrance to the Santa Monica pier.

The Disneyland Resort (both parks and Downtown Disney) also has an assload of PokeStops. If you go there every other week then you don't need to spend PokeCoins on items (unless it's Luckey Eggs, Incense, Lures, incubators, and Pokemon/item storage space).

Where do you guys get all those high cp Pokemon? Do you get better stuff when you live in a big city like New York or what? I'm not going to post a screenshot of my team, but I'm level 24 with one 1800+ Pokemon, one 1600+ Pokemon and the rest of my top Pokemon are around 1300-1500. Then I come to these threads and literally everyone who is at level 22-24 has like multiple 1900+ Pokemon. I'm especially baffled about all those high cp rare/evolved Pokemon. I've been playing for a month now and I've seen one Growlithe, zero Exeggcute or Exeggutor, zero Lapras, one shitty Aerodactyl, one mediocre Snorlax, and so on. Is everyone else spoofing, do I just have the shittiest luck possible, or is there a logical explanation to this?

I hope they completely overhaul the gym system.

It's too easy to swoop in and take down an enemy gym with a team of 6 pokemon, they don't even need to be at full health, just spam revives.

But it's way too hard to actually join a friendly gym that isn't level 2 or below. You have one pokemon, and one pokemon only, god help you if the weakest pokemon in the gym is higher than 1100 CP. You need full health, so the revive tactics won't work, and the drop rate for potions is so shit, in addition to being unable to buy them, so you'll always burn through them super quickly.

This could probably be fixed by making revives spawn less, but I'd rather the whole system get re-worked.

I sound ass blasted because I am, this shit is so broken.

I have done this, that's the joke. Most of the time I just run out of candy, reach the cp cap or don't want to power up my Mons because they have a bad moveset (or to a lesser extent, bad IVs).

Seriously, they have to do something about the moves. It's actually insane that they're completely random. You can have the best possible moveset on a first-stage Pokemon and then evolve and end up having the worst possible moveset. That's madness.

Those sound all like personal issues that go away with grinding.

What tier is Vaporeon now?

I have a 98% one, not sure if it's worth investing in.

The only other strong Pokemon that I have is a 80% Dragonair.

Same here, but it feels like the Growlithe population is declining for me.

In fact, all of the common non pidgey and rattata pokemon in my area seem to have changed. Mostly it was their red/blue exclusive counterparts swapping places. like Ekans isn't super common like it was last month, now it's sandshrew, and growlithe is less common, but Vulpix has become easier to find.


And Geodude seems to have replaced Zubat as the common cave pokemon in my area..

I'm about 5k away from lvl 20. I have yet to really come across big cp mons and my 10k eggs haven't been all that stellar. Just grind for that dust and batch evolves of pidey/weedle etc make sure to use a lucky egg when you do. I'm concentrating on that until I'm in the position to put together a solid team all at once. Not really other than you didn't maximize your time.

Try to catch more easy mons and have the right amount of candy to level them all up. Most efficient is pidgey/weedle/caterpie. I might be missing something but those are the ones near me that I use. Try and cram as much as you can when you batch evolve. Do as much as your poke storage willn allow and have everything set up and ready to go prior to using the egg.

If you're really good at timing have your lucky eggs near hatching time. I try to sync up my 2k eggs by putting them all on incubators at the same time.
On top of that go to your most dense poke stop so you can get double xp spinning for shit and hopefully people have lures on so you can also catch mons if you have time at the end.
Cram it all in there.

Holy shit. I caught a Dratini today with PERFECT 100% IVs. Too bad I never see these fuckers.

Knowing my luck, the Dragonite would have a shitty moveset anyway.

iirc your distance is now checked every 10 seconds instead of 5. And if you walk in a curve or double back in that time you don't get what you actually traveled. It only measures between two points not constantly.

Yeah. And people were noticing that walking in curves or doubling back fucked gave you less distance even when nearby pokemon were checked for every 1 second, which would suggest that distance updates aren't connected to pokemon updates, yes?
