I know bots are kill from pokespots and gyms, but do they still catch Pokemon? I haven't heard anything about Pokemon API or anything like that changing. Are bots still farming candies, XP, and dragonites right now while they wait to bypass gyms again? Or are we sure they're 100% kill right now and not even sending the servers requests?

I have a legit account at level 19, I just wanted an extra one that does bot.

I actually stopped playing this game for a few days now. I haven't completed it yet or anything but the game lacks so much depth. It was fun at first but when you're left with pidgey and weedle, there's only so much fun to be had. If you didn't use scanner, you weren't a player in the first place because it wasn't a game. Scanners mainly became really popular because of the 3-steps bug. When one of the CORE features of the game, and the most needed one since you need candies and the likes to level up and do anything in arenas, doesn't work, it's hardly a game to begin with, it's just a waste of time. If anything the scanners bought Niantic some time before people leaving because of their shit, they should be happy for this.

(again, hurting everyone but the botters) The walking distance for the eggs is fucked, you can't go biking while playing Pokemon Go either and there have been people banned for going on plane trips after turning the app off

Botters and spoofers meanwhile only get temporary bans.

Egg hatching works if you stay under 16KPH (10 MPH)

Keep stardust until 30, as wild pokemon CP evens out after level 30 and youll need your stardust and candies for 30-40

Pop lucky egg, evolve one 1 step of a 3 step pokemon, pidgey for example as its low cost. evolve to pidgeotto and throw to the grinder, dont waste the 50/100 on 3rd step evolutions unless you plan on using the final form for keeping gyms

You get lucky eggs by leveling up your account. They give double experience for 30 mins. It is best to use them to mass evolve because you get 1000 experience per evolution while using a Lucky Egg, but only 500 per without.

I've never seen a gym that struck me as being bot-held.

Pretty much the only way to send the unknown6 code while botting or using a radar is to have the game running but I am sure people will get banned even after that because of how unnatural bots are.

I'm struggling to understand the function of the GO Plus.

So it's a single-button blue-tooth device that you strap to your wrist and it'll notify you when a pokemon pops up on the map, then you can press the button to throw a ball.

It's billing itself as something you can use without having to access your phone, so how are you supposed to know what pokemon you're catching, or be able to access your bag/items?

Also, the bit about it not working on pokemon you haven't already caught before.

I wish there were pokecenters or something, if you didn't want to balance it around people using it to spam gyms harder put like a "haven't battled in 21 hours" limitation on using on using it and it only tops off a couple select pokemon then goes on cooldown.

Using potions just feels awful because it's usually really hard to avoid overhealing and wasting them.

tl;dr

Tap the screen to attack, you're locked into an animation with a length that scales do how much damage it does.
Swipe the screen to dodge when it flashes yellow- if a pokemon is using it's special attack it'll start rearing up and there will be a pop up saying the move name- that's so you can stop attacking and prepare to dodge the special.

Touch and hold to use your special when any of your blue bars are full.

tl;dr tap to attack and build up your meter, watch out for their own attacks (you need to understand the timing, you can only attack so many times between their own attacks if you intend to dodge, you cannot dodge WHILE attacking), avoid their specials which do massive damage and use your own

Thing is my friend has never gotten a Vaporeon yet. They have only tried the trick with Rainer. And every time I named my pokemon up until this last attempt, I got the desired pokemon. And I've done this 6 times, which the odds of that are 1/729.

I highly doubt I have that kind of luck. I'm willing to bet they changed it
