i was at a university campus today, and every other person was playing pgg since it's not a school day

playing pgg on LTE was slower than usual, it would hang for like 10 seconds before it'd actually catch the pokemon. it doesn't do that elsewhere

Their design decisions continue to completely baffle me. If the 3-step radar thing wasn't up to snuff, why not fix it back up and leave it in until you have a better function ready to ship out? Is the harder to catch pokemon thing actually true?

It's certainly felt this way since the last update, like tons of pokemon just breaking out a shit ton lately compared to before. Wasn't sure if it was just my experience or an actual thing.

Also removing tracking was fucking stupid as fuck.

And the game just seems... Slower in general. Like it seems to just be more sluggish. Less freezing on pokeball catches but lots more randomly locking up and overworld not updating or accepting clicks.

I live in an area that has 1 pokestop. I am propably the only player.
In weeks I have only been able to catch some of the most common ones. ie. Pidgey, Drowzee and Rattata. Just a couple of Eevee and saw a Porygon once in nearby.

I think I knew where the Porygon was, but I didnt want to trespass into someones Yard.
There arent even sidewalks for Pedestrians, and we're so in the middle of nowhere there isnt even a police station within 80 mile radius. So drunk driving is rampant with cars and quadbikes alike.

Thinking about Spoofing, but I would just disappoint myself doing that. But I dont really have options.
My strongest pokemon is a 311 Drowzee. But there arent even gyms for me to hold here.

I live in Japan so maybe things are a bit different for me over here but I find that Pokemon tend to spawn in similar locations. For example there is a big electronics store near my house and I always find at least 4 Pokemon there, no matter when I go. Usually 3 commons and 1 uncommon like a Venomoth or an Arbok or something. Likewise there's a river about 15 minutes on foot from my house and I always find rare or uncommon water type Pokemon there including Kabuto, Kingler, Seaking and Seadra. There's an intersection near there that always has Pokemon that are the strongest for my player level there. In fact the update seems to have really stabilized where Pokemon in fact spawn, it seems much less random-- for example Bulbasaur consistently spawn on top of this apartment building just across the street from me.

And unrelated question but can other players see your Pokemon's nickname if you put it into a gym? Every time I go to a gym the Pokemon there have the standard species name, 100% of the time.

The risk is always there when you cheat, you should be aware of that. However, Niantic is still having server and organizational issues, so I doubt they log enough player data or can allocate the time and resources to go after cheaters.

Emulators such as Nox aren't that difficult to detect, since the app probably has permission to access device data. In one of the future updates cheating methods might be patched out, so I'd refrain from spoofing for a few hours after each update to see if others get the ban.

I believe, however, that there won't be retroactive bans to people cheating right now. Another thing you should keep in mind is you might later on regret not spoofing while the game was still alive, because even if you get a ban later, a bot can grind up a new account for you in a day or two.

I finally found another Dratini that is 88-91% (either 15/10/15 or 14/12/15)

Is this good enough in your opinion to be evolved straight to Dragonite?

From my understanding because the base Attack/Def/Stam of Dragonite is so high perfect IV's will not make as big a % change as it would on a lower Pokemon.

Good enough to evolve? Or nah?

(I find 2-3 Dratini's a day - I live nearby a lake)
