Last game I played was XY, I autistically bred a lot of pokemon, built themed teams, did a lot of online battling, hunted shinies etc. the whole thing.

I skipped ORAS. I guess I was burned out a bit.

But now that I'm looking forward to Sun and Moon I feel the itch and am considering getting ORAS (probably AS, I love Kyogre) to pass some time and maybe get a few more competitively bred pokemon ready and such.

What do you think? Would I just be burned out again before S&M?
Is ORAS as bad as I hear many people say it is?

Think XY campaign plus RS story, minus the annoying friends. If you enjoyed XY you will probably enjoy ORAS. Just don't expect much to do after Delta Episode.

People hate on it, but I think it's better than X/Y, honestly. Mechanics are slightly improved, more megas, a better paced and slightly more detailed story with a bonus episode after all while still retaining a bit more of that classic Pokémon vibe.

There's no endgame, but you'll be aware of that already. If you had fun doing stuff in X/Y, you'll have a great time.

Absolutely. This girl hits so hard, and often times just an initial knock off KO is enough to get opponents to rage quit. Even if they don't, U-turn regenerator on such an offensively-powerfull pokemon is great, its stays alive for much longer than you'd expect.

I'm hoping Alola forms, but if it does happen, it's not happening in the first 2 versions. My guess is it'll be in the remake/3rd version/sequel/half gen/DLC that they release after Sun and Moon.

But I just want Grass/Fairy Meganium. I don't care how it happens, as long as it does.

What do you foresee them doing next? And what do you hope for?
I'm expecting the chinese leak to be right: Arcanine, etc. I don't imagine them doing a Fighting type Alakazam. I mean how would the Mega even work?
I hope for something to be done for my bro Golem. Make him super fast, either with a Mega or an Alola form, I don't care which, just make him good pls.

I seem to be lost with this shitty breeding.

Both Charizard and Venusaur are in the same egg group (in this case, Monster egg group).

Assuming I have a male Charizard and a female Venusaur, would my baby Bulbasaur be able to learn Flamethrower/Ember or any fire type attacks from Charizard?
