How is that AT ALL unreasonable? You have good Pokemon with player-chosen sets, actual EVs and you have fucking 6 of them, as well as tons of consumables and no cap of 4 used in a battle like them (which they rarely have enough items to even reach). Let them have their 10% stats advantage.

Since a pokemon is always the same species of its mother unless the mother is a Ditto, the starters are made mostly male so player can't breed more of them until getting a Ditto.

They could just put the breeding place after Ditto becomes catchable, though.

Use Minior and Tapu Fini, sleep is annoying so is Twave
Unfortunately neither is immune to confusion which you'll see a ton of the higher you go. So maybe find a good mon with own temp to swap in after fini. Because the Ai in this game usually won't do anything if they want to set up a status.
Just for fun I Shell smashed with Minior 3 times because the AI kept spamming Twave.

I've used swords dance/leech life/play rough/shadow claw with good results so far. Should probably replace LL because it's either at full health or dead and bug doesn't give me THAT much more coverage than fairy/ghost already give.
