What is even the point of DB, when SnS is objectively better than them? The only advantage they have is slightly more hits per seconds, but considering it eats up way more sharpness, you have to spend more time at a low sharpness level and sharpening, so they'll do about the same damage over the same period of time.

It seems like multiplayer dials up the defenses on monsters because the damage values were a lot lower than they should have been.

I'm not positive but I believe how it works is that it has multiple hitboxes but only hits once, since the outer edge's damage is delayed a bit but will still almost always stagger a monster even if it only nips it. It hits for (# of filled phials)*(boosted phial MV of true damage). Boosted phial MV varies based on whether it's impact or elemental and which game it's in.

UAED is just a fight finisher in TA but the actual correct way to play MH is like you're always recording footage for a MAD, and UAED is one of the best attacks in the game for that.

If you ever use healing phials, they buffed that. The healing goes off now when you store the phials as well as when you use them to charge your shield. So you get to heal twice as often as you did in X.
I only really liked MHX CB for 10 phial Energy Blade, it was the only thing that came close to the satisfaction of guardpoint AEDs in 4U. I'm very excited about MHW CB though.

Blade oils and a good jump attack? No way Jose. Honestly it looks like SnS is going to be the absolute worst weapon in MHW. No good changes to the moveset and the damage is some of the worst we've seen.

Lance didn't get too many changes but at least it does 60-70 damage per triple poke, whereas the SnS full combo takes longer and I think barely scratches 60.

splatoon is a neat game but really belongs on pc, I'm guessing spla2n is at least more of an upgrade than a downgrade. But like I said, belongs on pc, I probably won't even bother with it when I get a switch in two years when the super new 2switchcube u ds xl sp color hits the market.

But yeah, the two biggest draws for the Switch right now are MH (except it's the second worst g rank title in the series after portable g) and breath of the wild, and both of those happen to be available on other platforms (not that anyone but me owns a wii u anyway) that aren't significantly worse than the switch for those games in particular. In fact without owning a switch I have beaten both of them, botw multiple times, and have already uninstalled xx because it was trash.
