there has to be some sort of fall off. If my friends list is any indication. Something like 30+ only met online in Overwatch and most of the time it's maybe 2-3 on line at best.

You're not wrong, but i've seen how it goes after playing a few unfortunate games of CTF and its still pretty damn annoying if the enemies fully stall it.

Regardless, I think it would be good to encourage the old switching if that style of 3CP was made, as it allows aggressive lines for pushing on the point and defensive strongholds to keep the enemies from capping your side since it sort of encourages both attack and defense for both sides.

Popping Lv1's all over the places like minisentries and reserving all the armour for burst is relatively effective, only giving armour to shield heavy classes.

Because while you managed to do a l33t wipe, your team has no tank, no support and no survivability. If you want to play the 4th DPS (Technically 5th), don't start whinging when your team has no sustain. 35% is too much. I'd say 25% and give headshots back. Not doing enough damage is actually a problem believe or not. You can't kill Dva's mech in the split second her DM is down; she gets it back up and just flies away and gets healed. You also can't counterplay Tracers Pulse Bomb; you used to be able to instantly kill her with well-placed headshots. Bringing back headshots also rewards good aim so it makes the hero less brainless in general.

I want a healer that heals by doing damage to store charge and then blows that charge to heal in an AoE. Then we have another AoE healer, who is engaged as Zen but more focused on healing than Zen's fire-and-forget healy ball.

Soundquake would be a good tank if he had barely any damage output and exchanged it all for shittons of knockback.
I don't know, his main fire is a soundwave, which knockbacks enemies in a controllable line slightly more than default speed, just over matching Tracer and Gingo at the cost of decreased move speed and increased armour. Secondary fire is a very short range gigaknockback blast which uses up all the rest of his ammo.
Ultimate is a five secondary fires pulsating outwards from Soundquake in all directions.

Passive is that Sounquake has 10% defence increase on incoming fire from the front of his body (made larger by his playermodel)
Ability 1 is that for 10 seconds he makes his entire team inaudible to the enemy, allowing for a sneaky peaky move around
Ability 2 silences everything in a set area around him for 4 seconds, allowing McMemes to get silent ults off etcetc

Obviously more of a defensive tank, but with more of a separation from Rein/ Orisa as an anchor tank. 400Hp, 100 Armour, comboed with the Def buff to the front
