I actually have pretty large hands and find the joycons small and mildly uncomfortable to use, but I cannot aim well at all with a pro controller, while aiming with the joycons is easier than using a fucking mouse for me. Hand cramps will happen no matter what setup you use if you play 12 hours a day, and if you happen to use a Slosher or a Brush then good fucking luck.

Ive always hated being forced to have my arms in a fixed position and having to move both of them around like im pretending to drive in a racing game, or maybe it has something to do with never playing the original with the gamepad.

Anyone have plum casuals and are kind enough to let me order them? I'm getting desperate

Just throwing them at fleeing enemies or into chokes where they like to funnel out at. They make it really obvious to teammates when you have one marked and that person ends up being completely useless when everyone has info on their location. For more specific uses I throw them at Sloshers and Chargers because theyre the only thing capable of fighting 1v1 with a SSP and winning, so if I dont feel comfortable fighting them I sensor bomb them and retreat for a bit.

Control mid. By controlling mid you control more than half the map and win automatically. You're also a liability because they're going into a fight 3v4.

So, Luna blaster has been nerfed pretty badly, hasn't it?
Attack has been reduced a lot so half of the kills are 3 shots, and it now has shit blast radius.

skipping ranks is a retarded system. I have 3 people on my team at B rank that don't know the rainmaker is a gun. They just pick it up and immediately run and die without shooting once.

The two rules I follow are A. Keep control of the middle, and B. When the match starts, follow your lane.

I always keep the second rule in mind because if you try to ink territory that's already covered, you don't get any special meter. If you spawn on the left, you take the leftmost path. Spawn on the right, the rightmost. The two on the middle have to divvy it up between themselves, though some maps are friendlier about that than others.

This allows more of your side to be covered, as well as the potential to get some special synergy between your teammates.

the octobrush is guaranteed to get nerfed just because of how many people are using it. It's impossible to not do well with the weapon even if it isn't overpowered the skill floor is so low that it doesn't matter

As expected.

The game plays like a dream and it is really early. But so far there isn't anything that beats or rivals splatoon 1 as far as atmosphere. New maps so far aren't that great except maybe the roller rink, none of the new characters are better than old, specials while a lot more balanced are nowhere near as fun (except maybe bubble, it's a chore to pop jetpack), hub plaza is trash compared to 1, campaign while better stage wise compeltely drops the ball with the finale.

I'm trying not to be down on it but everything new I'm kind of neutral/whatever on. Haven't dived into salmon run yet so maybe that will make up for some of this. Game feels rushed.
