How long does Reverse/Rebirth take to complete?

I am doing a run through 1.5 + 2.5 trying to Platinum it. The current goal is to run through everything with one run and then go back and 100%/Platinum every game I missed. For example, I did Speedster on Beginner with KHFM (meant to do Unchanged Armor but it got too difficult with Ansem 2 so I decided to just come back to it later when I feel like grinding. Just finished Re: CoM so ideally KH2FM is next, but if I can get R/R over with in enough time, I may just tackle that

6-8 hours. Getting to End of the World was easy, but then I got torn a new one. I never felt pressed for time, so I could have grinded for at least 5 hours if I wanted to. The thing is, I was tired of the game at that point and just wanted to move onto new territory with Re:CoM. Speedster is definitely doable. Don't stress out and don't get greedy. Getting greedy will get you killed. Remember your Gravity spells for Invisibles and Behemoths. Use Aero when you can. Make sure you have plenty of time on your hands to clear Final Rest. Save after Chernabog.

If you aren't doing unchanging armor you shouldn't have to worry about it, but it's not that much harder with the starting gear.
The lack of Leaf Bracer was 3/4 of the difficulty.
I didn't decide to snag Aeroga until right before Chernabog but after getting it the normal Heartless were a joke.
I highly recommend getting it as it's barely out of the way and will help you immensely with the final stretch.
Ansem 1 + 2 are easy enough when you get their patterns down.
I don't need to mention Darkside.
I think I just got lucky with World of Chaos, try to get a good feel of flying in and out of the danger zone.
WoC Ansem is tedious try to chip him out, you can take a couple hits from the lasers with Aeroga but don't get too greedy.
Face is easy and you can see its attacks coming from a mile away, fly in and out when necessary.
Weird pumpkin face heart thing is also easy as Aeroga automatically deflects the surrounding attacks.
WoC Ansem 2 is easier than the first, when he does the black hole attack that's your opportunity to wail on him before it tries to suck you in.
Smack the guardian when he starts to drain your MP.

Sometime during KH3 PLAYER is released from the Realm of Sleep to help fight against Xehanort.
All of the darkness PLAYER has channeled to guilt medals manifests in his keyblade as it transforms into No Name.
PLAYER realizes he was Master of Masters and must now go back in time to fulfill his role in history.
He writes the book of prophecies not because he can see the future but because he already lived it. He makes up a story about sticking his eye into the keyblade so no one will suspect he's time traveling.

So far it feels like beating the game is the hard part and afterwards it'll be all collecting cards and leveling.
Roadblocks are the polar opposite of KH2's being more frustrating than fun and I never feel satisfied after being them.
Everything else is a slog that I don't want to rush through because I know the next boss will tear me a new one.
I'm probably just bad but I don't have any incentive to get good and I just want it to be over with.

Re:CoM is a fun game when taken at the raw, base nature of the game. It's a coolio collectible card game that also operates as a damn fine battle system.

The issue is when the game forces you to stop and collect Map Cards for a SPECIFIC VALUE, or when Completionism rears its ugly head. Normally I'm all for games that let you 100% them, but the trophies for 1.5 are pretty fucking stupid.

It's virtually impossible to track what enemy cards you're missing in Sora's path without having a guide or completed list to compare to, since unlike in vanilla CoM, Sora doesn't get EVERY enemy as an enemy card.
Additionally, the Card Library achievement also counts map cards, which wouldn't be too bad except for the fact that Random Jokers are fairly rare, and it's entirely possible to go an entire playthrough of either route without ever having seen one.

It's not as bad as KH1FM's Plat was, but it can definitely be frustrating.

Really? I thought KH1FM's plat was easy. Beat the game on hard and then beat the game on easy for speed/unchanging and then go around doing all the remaining ones.

The only bad one I can think of is all shields/all staves because of the low drop rate but I got those in the middle of mat farming, and mat farming was actually pretty fun because of infinite thunder and mana pouring out everywhere.

I consider Reverse/rebirth to still be a part of a full play through of Re:com, just using the same worlds to tell Riku's story.
You can definitely get through it in less than 10 hours if you're good enough. I got the platinum on ps4 (so much easier) but the only trophy that was an issue after collecting ALL of the cards was levelling up Riku. That must have taken at least 8 hours.

Most KH games render cutscenes in-engine, in real time, which is why Drive Forms and Keyblades persist instead of reverting to default.

In the Toy Story trailer, we saw Sora wield the TS Keyblade during the cutscenes, so they won't be pre-rendered like 0.2

If there are customization features, those will persist as well naturally.

I know the KH story and I've played kh1 and 2 on ps2 and emulated BBS, but I've never played Re:com, re:coded, days or DDD

1.5+2.5 will only get you Re:CoM as far as a new game goes. Days and Re:coded are just movies.

But you also get the Final Mix versions of KH1, II and BbS.
Now that everything's been patched up, it's basically the best version of these games.

2.8 is the better version of DDD easily, with various small tweaks and a better controller.
Also it comes with 0.2 and Back Cover which is dope.

I see no reason not to get them.
