First 5 minutes of Dream Drop Distance impressions

-This is Sora at his "cutest" ever. I guess Nomura wanted to do one more game with shota Sora.

-30-year-old Sora voice actor didn't sound as bad as I expected when he was in his KH2 uniform, but it is definitely jarring in kid-form. KH3 localization team needs to make sure he doesn't try to sound too "happy go lucky".

-Neku from TWEWY is in this game. I hope he's in it a lot

-Flow Motion is a lot of fun and it will be perfect for KH3's larger areas. Why do people complain about it?

I've played through 1.5+2.5 HD and I now I've started 2.8 but I haven't been able to bring myself to keep playing DDD after a couple of hours with it. I loathe the drop system. But I sort of feel like I should finish the game since I've played through the rest.

I found it in reverse, jarring in KH2 but a little bit better in kid-form.
I think that's because I remember KH2 Sora being serious with brief moments of silliness, albeit it's been a long time since I played KH2.
It makes since for him to be a bit sillier in DDD because to him everything is dandy at the moment, he has his friends back, he doesn't have to worry about Team Nort for a little while, he can kick back for a bit.
Like you said he does sound too happy go lucky in some lines though.
