Only the 2nd floor. Been a while since I drew my own maps, seems like I've lost the patience to do stuff like that anymore. Modern DRPGs have spoiled me. Also the lack of 'quality of life' improvements really show the game's age, e.g. having to navigate menus upon menus just to do simple stuff like investigate walls, 'Inspect Character' only possible in the tavern and not in the shop, no Auto-Attack button, etc.

All in all, standard Wizardry fare, really. I might buy the 2 JP-only Vita Wizardry games (http://wizardry.acquire.co.jp/vita/); pic related. I'm not entirely what's the JP reception to those 2 are like; are they good Wizardries? Did the Japs like them? At least they're not expensive if I do end up buying them.

The only one that comes close to being called a love-hate relationship is Sony since I love my Vita!
I never particularly cared for XSEED and the recent events, coupled with their past history, only makes me hate them. PQube and LRG both have ups and downs, with the latter having more downs (and apparently a thinner skin to have such a hissy fit with PQube over Rabi-Ribi), but they both had steady streams of Vita titles and are legitimate fan of the system. Arcsys Works is more amazing than people give credit for too, so I want to through that out there since I hardly see them mentioned in Vitagen. Iffy and all its subsidiaries are a mixed bag, but none of them are terrible groups. Same with KT -- I love my Atelier games and probably won't bring myself to dislike them unless the last Atelier title for the mysterious series isn't on Vita. Bandai Namco is creating Hacker Memories on Vita strictly as a thank you for the support the Vita community gave Cyber Sleuths; Vanillaware gave us all their amazing titles and even produced exclusive DLC, and NIS(A) adore the system enough to continue creating exclusives for it.

Literally the only ones who can come close to a love/hate relationship is Sony. Everybody else is varying degrees of appreciation, or in XSEED's case, disgust due to their amateur work ethic.

See the gameslist for interesting looking games at the second post. I'm on mobile so recommendations are a little thin, but if you got into utawarerumono that would be very much worth it. Great stuff from Aquaplus. DT2 would be another great one from them, though it's a DRPG and the story isn't great. And lots of lewd.

People really like soul sacrifice delta, it has some nice stories from what I've heard. The game isn't really for me as it looks way too edgy and I don't like that stuff. But people who enjoy it really enjoy it.

Atelier games have simple stories, but interesting alchemy to keep you interested for hours. Ar nosurge is also good enough, but that also isn't to ever liking.

You may want to try the fourth one to see effects are permanent (I think they are). It's Locker extension level 1 so I imagine some locker like thingy will increase in size, don't recall game 1 having any lockers though.

Hmm. The story dungeons aren't that hard if you know how dungeon crawlers work. This is basically my second dungeon crawler, did play some Cryp of the necrodancer, but I'm doing fine enough so I would imagine it's manageable for most people. I think Z is a little bit more challenging than the first one.

Also there's some items that help with keeping your items if you die in the dungeon. Though even then, there's sometimes thiefs that will fuck you up by stealing your shit. But you can get those back as well if you defeat those thieves. The most annoyuing enemies from the first game were the ones that made you forget your items. That was seriously bullshit.

Well, the first one has translated item list and there's also someone who's making an import guide for the game with menus and other stuff explained. I don't read any Jap at all and I'm mostly doing fine with the game, for the story I have to listen carefully to stay on track. But if you already know that you aren't too big on Dungeon Crawlers I'm not sure if I can recommend this too much.

She has this special attack that makes everyone sleep for a few turns in a room. So I can just kill monsters in peace. Doesn't work to bosses, and I imagine that some enemies will be resistant to it at later stages as well. But for now it's great for these situations.

From what I understand it's some weapons and portraits to the base screen and maybe some music? Well, from what I saw it really wasn't worth to change regions for me at least. Could have bought it on PS4 as well but in the end I do prefer this kind of game in handheld. I would have swapped to JPN PSN if there was some different bras DLC for the identifying sections but they haven't done that.

The bad thing with Vita version is that it uses extra ram so you need to close the game everytime you want to get some screens into your PC.
