So just to be clear, the only way to be good at this game is memorize what everyone can do and hope you can deal with it right? There's no 'fundamentals' in Tekken, its just "Oh hey its Hworang I should side step all day and hope that instant launcher doesn't catch me" or "Oh hey its Kat I hope I remember her strings perfectly so I know when to block low"

Orbital gets punished by any high and many mids. Just mash jab if you see it coming.

Silent entry is not only stuffed by any jab, but everything out of SE is unsafe other than one shitty move and the only low is SE-2 which is highly reactable/punishable.

Dynamic entry is all highs or mids so just stand block. He also has a 1+2 break command grab out of it that they get cute with.

There are hit confirmable strings that have a window that you can react to when the first part hits and non-hit confirmable strings that require you to input the whole string like Injustice.

The combo theory of tekken is Launcher > Filler > Tailspin > Ender

Filler is just whatever you can do before a tailspin to increase damage and a tailspin is like a second, smaller launcher in the middle of a combo.

Bryan either makes the opponent block a plus normal and he has REALLY good ones or he stays in their face with df21 mixups, looking for the CH. His neutral is some ASS so you have to take risks to even get your game started because all of the things that start your pressure are slow as fuck. So, if you want to make up for it, you have to qcb3 people 12 times before that realize that they should probably duck and at that point, you bomb them with orbital and then they're dead anyway.

I don't like that playstyle to be honest and I like to play more in the midrange. Bryan isn't interesting anymore because he's not unga but more like, "Hahaha, they thought they could do something and they couldn't! I'm a genius" and then you have to defend yourself and it's "Well shit, I don't have any good panic moves. This is horrible"

If it's -4 it's still good for them
If it's -2 be wary because they can step
If it's 0 definitely be cautious because it's neutral and it's common to step at 0

If theyre +1-2 it's wise to step or just see what else they throw
+3 df1 will trade with 11f
+4 they beat almost everything expect dick jab
+6 don't press anything unless you read they will do a i18 or more move because uf4/df2 will beat everything. Usually u take the mixup at +6
+8 they have all the advantage and they can work with anything they got.
