You can play him as a very pokey character. Lot's of good damage from CH combos. Also very nice wall carry. You can apply an infinite amount of pressure when you have your opponent backed up against a wall. You can also play him defensively. qcb+4 and f+2,1 are some good whiff punishers.

His best 10f punish is an ass to do tho.

Well I don't know fuck all about Claudio other than his hopkick. Just practice movement and blocking. I'm new too and went from losing every match to winning more often than not just by learning how to block and take advantage of mistakes made by my opponent. There are tons of tutorials about defensive play and in my opinion knowing how not to get hit is better than knowing a combo.

After playing 900 games with Raven, I can say don't even think about block punish anything less than -16, and only punish sweeps if you have 3 bars. Most of your moves are unsafe and slow, you have to BT to do a low sweep or non-neutral hopkick, which is basically useless at higher ranks. Your priority is to create whiffs and fish for CHs with your weird movements. I wish I knew that sooner.

Guy trying to learn KBD here.
I've been practicing the skill on both 1P and 2P side. If you see my inputs the top list is 1P and the bottom is 2P. The problem is that while I've started to get the hang of it on the 1P side (even though those inputs look very messy) I can't get it at all on the 2P side.

I read about KBD and how the stick is supposed to register D/B, B when you go D/B, essentially when you release the stick from D/B and go to neutral you should be getting a B input, then you input the second B in order to get the backdash.

However, the problem is that on the 2P side, I'm not getting that, as you can see. Sometimes I get D, D/B, but not D/B, B. Should I open up my fightstick and check the switches to see if there's anything that could be casuing this?

I dunno if this helps, but I highly recommend customizing to have the Jun Kazama (Super Ecology Mix) theme from Tekken 2 to your go-to practice stage whenever you're in practice mode. Makes have to go through all the frame data and figuring out punishes more relaxing.
