sometimes you need more games than 30-40, as long as you don't get bored of the champ you should continue, for example I started learning kassadin when I was plat 4, I demoted to plat 5 and my mmr dropped down to gold 4 almost getting demoted to gold but after 50 games my winrate got to 50% and after a lot more games I finally have a plat 4 mmr again and am climbing, it helped for me seeing how high elo players buy and play certain matchups. You can get any rank with any champ but it's sometimes just harder than with others, keep working
