Raven is arguably the coolest character in the game (and is certainly super fun to watch just laser light show all over the place) but the good news is you (maybe) aren't retarded because Raven is fucking hard. If you were getting shit on and playing like Jack-7 or Bob, different story. Raven is not easy. Not by a long shot.

im assuming this guy is a newer player, i wouldn't start someone out on Raven.

some of her better keepout tools she has to whiff because they recover better than on block, she has good punishment but no i15 launcher, unique moves from backturn i could see not being super easy for newer players to grasp, and her parries are unique compared to the others in the game. she also has to take risks to open people up with lows.

so yeah maybe not like crazy hard but certainly not easy if this is your first tekken.
