Thinking about MCH, why the fuck didn't they get rid of Gauss Barrel and just make heat a baseline mechanic? In HW the skill was something you could use on or off for damage vs mobility but in SB there is no reason to not have it on at all times. SB cap is 70, yes. When you hit 30 on arcanist, you'll have access to two quests around the area that let you choose between sch or smn. You can do them both side by side, or one then the other later if you'd like. Either way, you're always leveling arcanist, even if you're a scholar, or summoner. Those jobs are crystals you equip to change into said job.

Serious question, I play on PS4 Pro™ and I use a controller. Is this bad? It seems to me like there aren't enough useful abilities for it to be overwhelming. All of them can fit quite comfortably on the cross hotbar and if need be, I use the extended controls (holding both triggers) to use some of the more situational abilities.
