I got the game recently and boosted a class and I have some questions:

Where do I get my artifact armor? I read that the boost completes all quests of that chosen class and I can go to the calamity vendor to fetch that item back but I couldn't find it at all. Unless I overlooked it. I also read that you receive artifact armor from the story quests, I plan on at least playing through those so I'm sort of confused as to which one will give me artifact armor.

Also, for those that are way ahead, how is the new artifact armor received in the expansion? through drop or main quest or?

And my last question has to do with Gil. How much do you guys typically make in a day or week? When I boosted my class I thought about dumping it on an apartment but then I thought about potentially changing servers soon so I'm sort of unsure.

One gives your actions faster usage speed so you can start with that and get your combos up and going faster in the beginning and the other is a slashing debuff. I suppose you can make your own choice but It stands to reason to me that faster is better then worry about damage. If the thing dies super fast its better to have hit it more from Gekkou than to have wasted the debuff I guess too.

It's too bad they didn't release the free transfer with Free Company transfers. Nobody wants to leave behind their ranked up free company which takes months to rank to max level with a small group.

The only thing to lose when transferring is the FC and that's months of your time so very few are going to transfer..

This game has one of the BEST varied soundtracks of any MMO I have played (and I have played a ton), and perhaps one of the best soundtracks of any game

Everytime I enter a new dungeon, face a new boss or trial I am always excited to see what they did with the musical score

Fair enough. I'm not too worried since my static will most likely be asking me to pick a tank. Maybe double PLD or PLD/WAR, will let the theorycraft scene calculate more for that. If not, I don't mind leveling up another DPS job since it feels so easy to atm.

Should I charge back my stormblood/time purchase?

I've played for 3 days and all I've done is the ARR quests and walking around uldah and thanalan.

Haven't had a chance to play any new class, and I'm not even at the first expansion.

Then I have to delete/vendor like 150 items from my retainer....

Then I have to do 25 unlock quests, which so far is the exact same walk around to different towns.

I could get it if it was a fucking story but I have to clear the road, play hide and seek, walk around and talk to some asshole who I meet up and gives his report to me etc
